Yeah there is so much body language that goes into real communication that is just absent via FaceTime and phone calls. Texting you just know you can’t get it so you can use emoji’s or straight up ask

Emojis are not enough for me. there's a lot missing from text. I can't fully understand tone of voice. there's lots of typos. People take forever to reply or spam you before you have time to reply. And so on

It’s definitely not perfect that’s for sure I just feel like I recognize the limitations of it and feel better about using it over FaceTime or phone call if sitting down face to face to talk is not possible. But that’s just me and everyone is different
