Talker. I'm okay with texts for asking quick questions, but I have no desire to have a full on conversation over text. It honestly annoys me that so many people my age refuse to talk on the phone and want to have long, drawn out conversations over text (but what drives me even more nuts are the ones who refuse to read more than a sentence or two and act like any more than that is just way too hard; how lazy and/or stupid can you be? And some of these people act like they take pride in that). Then they wonder why they have social anxiety, when they refuse to communicate outside of text on a screen. As someone who once had crippling social anxiety, the only way it will get better is if you face your fears and actually start interacting through people in the ways that intimidate you. Ignoring, avoiding, or making excuses for an issue will not make it go away, it will only stay the same or become worse.

I prefer to text because I clam up when it comes to subjects I don't like. But you can't have a proper conversation without talking, the other person can only ready your voice in their voice, so your emotions and expressions are all lost.

I can text quite well but I find that as soon as I talk face to face or over the phone then I have great trouble going back to texting. Texting starts to feel unreal, as though the person on the other end is not actually real. It actually took me a long time to understand that there is a real person on the other end and I can't just write whatever random shit I felt like writing in the moment.

I am most definitely a talker. I desire to get to know people intimately so there is no room for texting. Texting is a great tool for some things but having real communication isn't one of them. It's part of the reason in this day and age that people don't have real connections!

I'm more of a talker, when I do text it's usually short. Can I give a word of advice? People, when you're going to text and have more than one thing to say or ask, please say it all in one text. It's annoying when the phone keeps beeping every 15 seconds with one question at a time. Thanks 🤓🙌

Texting 💯 Talking can be awkward... Especially when you are still in the phase of getting to know someone. I'm an introvert, what did you expect 🤷🙈

I am a pretty quiet person. Although with my boyfriend I'm a chatterbox.
That translates into texting because most of the times we are both working so we dont have time to be talking all the time ya know?

I love texting throughout the day, especially teasing, or sub/dom type of texting. But, I also do enjoy talking lots too when I'm in the moment. It can really build up the desire.
