Yes, it was a bit embarrassing at a clothing shop! I tried three times and it was all wrong. So I had to return the clothes I wanted to purchase, go to the bank, change it to something I could actually remember, and return to the shop.

The reason I had difficulty remembering though is that I was pickpocketed and had to change it. The bank didn't let me use the same one I used last time and that caught me by surprise. So I hastily put in a number I thought I could remember but I didn't. :-D

Well, actually in total I was pickpocketed 3 times (over the course of a number of years; I tended to enjoy hanging out in shady underground nightclubs). So after the third time, I forgot my 4th pin number.

I stopped carrying my cards with me when I went clubbing after the third time it happened to me. As for getting pickpocketed so much, I love EDM music and at the time dancing was illegal in Japan after midnight. So cops could shut down a nightclub if the police caught people dancing inside after midnight. Yet the police generally didn't hassle hip-hop and RNB clubs so much. They primarily targeted EDM clubs mainly because they were most associated with trouble and drug use. So the EDM clubs were mostly underground, and would sometimes consist of some thugs and criminal types.

I see. You have to be careful in those places.

They finally lifted the dancing ban here in the 2010s. I've stopped clubbing since my 20s, but hopefully, things are safer now that those places are no longer illegal.

No. I’ve used the same number since I was 18. I don’t think I could forget it, it’s only 4 numbers lol
Kinda unrelated, but one time I was smoking with a friend and he ended up forgetting the password to his phone. Even once he sobered him, he couldn’t remember the same pin he used to get into his phone every day. He literally locked himself out of it and had to buy a whole new one lmaoo

Few times at the ATM while few people were waiting outside to use the ATM. Took me couple of minutes to get it right, lol. Oh and I also forget couple of times at the super market.

My PIN number is my student number in middle school when I was 12 years old. I’ve used the same number for 24 years so I will probably remember it for the rest of my life.

No. My PIN is something I can never forget and yet it's something nobody could ever guess. :)

    P. S. I don't use credit cars bc they're a form of modern slavery.

They sure are. The interest rates are insanely high. They're worse than student loan debt.
