Do you Google everything or check the internet to find out/confirm information?

Things I never believe are mainstream media, politicians or government.
Also, opinions are like ass holes. Everyone has one.
I formulate my opinions (not beliefs) by assessing information and using my reasoning ability to detect bias and bullshit. Documentation and credibility are key. My opinions are always open to revision as I learn more.
So, depending on the topic, I search for dependable, unbiased information and as many points of view as possible.
Google is handy for uncontroversial information. But it is highly biased and has an agenda when it comes to other things. It hides certain points of view and will give you pages of links that have the same points of view, including slander of sources that are out of line with the official narrative. In that sense, it is like corporate media in deliberately creating the illusion of consensus.
As if doctors are always right and never make wrong medical diagnoses.. No one knows your own body better than yourself. Do you know the amount of times I've been misdiagnosed? Yes I do. The Internet is a valuable source of information, if you use it right
Thank you for MHO
Not everything but most of the things. I mean let’s just be honest that even questions we seek for answers is already in google or other search engines.
So we work wise and ask wise right 😊
Sometimes I will check things online. I will even check health questions if I have a health concern, and I am unable to see the doctor, because they are closed for the day.

Well yeah that's how one learns there is a massive resource of information on the web and many sources often back each other up leading to a common answer that will be more reliable after so many studies from different sources giving the same results.
And this way if anyone disagrees you can just link multiple of these, then they can't really say much. Since humans will argue against anything hell they'll probably argue with those sources, when they are one who's never done their own research to actually back up anything against those sources but yet think they know better.
Which is just a sign to leave them to their own deluded thoughts.
I do search the internet to find more information about specific subject. Google has a tendency to be liberal on political rhetoric.
I like to find out what other search engines might tell me about a specific subject. I wonder how AI would work and giving me proper information. Is it also one-sided?
I check everything. I double check everything and triple check everything. I don't take anything anymore at it's word.
No. Knowing is important, but confirming and sourcing is just extra to remove uncertainty.
But if someone is going to argue over opinions, then it's their time to waste. Most fights are over opinions, not facts, to boot.
I'm with @exitseven... Sometimes... I look things up if I'm not sure about them, or if it's something that's really interesting.
Yep. It's always good to know reputable sources, and check for misinformation. Always be open to changing your own knowledge and opinions, otherwise you will not grow as a person
I want to do both the search on google and confirming it in person. I take it as I see it. With my own eyes.
Not everything but I look up a lot if stuff
It depends on the subject, as some things are simple facts like dates or names. For more complex questions, I always probe far deeper than a cursory glance.
If it is on the internet then it has to be true, right?
Google? Get Brave Search as well. It's not run by Tide zombies.
Not everything, but on here when people make statements like "Research shows..." with no link (s) I always check the accuracy.
I check everything but not from single source, because internet is not as correct as people think it is
Mostly if it is a key point but not just one source if it is more than when did the Battle of Argincourt happen. False information and easy explanations are often replicated.
I dont use Google anymore bunch of spying control freaks greedy commies
There are some people whose calls I really don't wanna pick up. So I just wait patiently till the Truecaller notification comes on the screen.
Plus there are robocallers as well.
