It just depends on what was said. I'd say the ones I use most are:

Something generally amusing or lighthearted: haha
Something funny: lol
Something really funny: LOL!

But I don't use lolololol or rofl, and I rarely use lmao, if at all.

As far as emojis, in ascending order of funniness, I typically use: 😆, 😂 and 🤣.

Sometimes I use only an acronym (haha/lol/LOL!), sometimes I only use an emoji (😂😂😂), sometimes I use an acronym and an emoji (lol 😂), and sometimes I use multiple emojis in conjunction with an acronym (LOL! 🤣🤣🤣). Again, it just depends on the situation and what was said.
