Electric cars are VERY good at issuing warnings if your battery is low or if you are navigating to a place you can't reach with the charge on-board. If you "forgot" to change your car (presumably overnight while you slept), then you would simply have to charge the next morning and delay your departure until you had enough charge to reach a fast charger. Yes, this might take several hours on a 110V standard outlet.
But this is really an invented problem more than a real one. People with electric cars quickly get into the habit of taking the 10 seconds necessary to plug their car in. And if they aren't home, it may take 2 or 3 minutes to plug in their travel charger (which won't charge an empty battery to full by morning - you need a 230v for that), but you will almost certainly have enough range to reach a fast charging station.
Also, electric cars currently on the market are only suitable for about 90% of the population's use cases - maybe 10% of people have requirements that wouldn't be well-served by the EVs available today. Over time, that gap will close further, but the vast majority of people today could own an EV and do all of their normal driving and be LESS inconvenienced, rather than more.
This will get better still starting next year when new car models (but not necessarily existing models, until they are refreshed) will come with the "Tesla plug" standard and be able to charge on Tesla's infrastructure. The EV industry will be standardizing on the Tesla charging system, so there won't be competing standards going forward.

The same thing you would do if you were low on fuel in a petrol car with no station or cities around. You fucking schedule better next time, and call recovery.
However, there are more power sockets in a single city than fuel stations in the world.
You can charge your car like you do a mobile phone. But if you buy electric you should buy a mode 2 socket charger as your "backup" in case you get stranded.
Sure you might meet Leatherface in the bush, but at least you'll be able to find a power socket to plug the car in, so the next poor bastards can escape...
That would neve happen to me as I am totally against electric cars and would never buy one or get one even if it was offered to me.
Well, in that case, you just remove the battery and carry it to the next petrol station in the hope that they can recharge it for you or then walk to the next farm, dwelling or civilized place and ask if you can use the astronomic amount of energy necessary to fully charge that battery.
Darn, I totally forgot that they are very unhandy to carry and I would just pass you with my little 1 gallon gasoline canister to fill it up at the next dwelling because I don't need a charging station for my car

I would call a friend with transportable gas generator and a 25L gas can to load this damn EV. I guess such devices will belong to default car equipment like starter cables for cars with combustion engine.

You would need to call for help, same as if your car ran out of gas in the middle of the road.
Only because most people don't use electric cars, they are unlikely to be carrying a backup battery with them, and jumper cables hooked to a gas car won't be able to charge an electric one, so a tow truck being needed is much more likely
Why would you not have a backup battery to charge from though? Even with gas cars they sell portable gas containers for this exact issue, so in either case for long drives its to be expected to manage fuel vs travel.
I bet when the first cars were invented, people complained about needing to refuel, like why do that when I can just feed my horses with the food in my carriage?I would let myself be in that situation but the way other people can get out of it is to either buy a gas generator or call a charging truck.
But really, plug in hybrids and/or range extending vehichles are the way to go until the charging infrastructure is in place.I have seen those funny pictures with a tesla towing a gas generator with a cannister of gas attached to it lol. But i don't think that would be much more environmentally friendly compared to just a regular gas car lol. I Guess the best option would be a tow unless the world is in the middle of an apocalypse then it might not be a bad idea to tow a gas generator along with you. But i have a gas-powered car so i don't have to worry about these things. 🤣🤣🤣
nobody remembers? call a tow truck... same as "if you forgot to add gasoline," ran out of gas... "you are stuck somewhere far away" from gas stations! There are no gas stations within 2 miles!
or maybe only buy electric car so you won't risk running out of gas! get it?
The thing about electric cars is that you have another set if chores youv have to deal with. You have tobset time aside rmto charge it. If you forget you have to spend hours waiting for it the charge. If you are going far away you have to find a RELIABLE charging station that you can use. If it ever breaks down in another state you need to find somebody to make repairs
The way to avoid all this is to not own am electric carSee, that is another downside to owning one of those useless cars.
Operator error - forgetting to charge the darn thing.
And the list goes on and on.Same thing you do with a fossil fuel powered car, you call someone to help you.
Learn not to forget to do it again, call a roll back and wait.
