Are they going to suddenly have everyone's biometrics and recognize you when you walk into a store or DMV or hospital or whatever? Are you going to be required to give your fingerprint to everyone to be able to spend money?

Of course that information is being stored and shared. The government collects it from those databases, too.
They also collect your medical records and information on everything you do.
And they are working hard to implement a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) so that they can track every single transaction. You will need to swipe something into a reader to make purchases. They would like everyone to have an implanted microchip for that purpose.
That will lead to a CCP-style "social credit score" system in which they can control how you spend your money and what you are and are not allowed to do. A low score means that you can't travel, can't get a loan, etc.
False. This CBDC nonsense is Alex Jones level crazy
Depends. Like for example face id, the only way that works is if you go through a process to give that information and they do keep it so it can be used by you automatically. That goes for fingerprint authentication and other biometrics. Other examples is the police collecting fingerprints of every criminal in the system. Ever sense 9/11 They have a huge data base of every criminal that they share data base with like the FBI, SIA, Military CID, and other agencies.
Face ID, maybe. Fingerprint isn't good enough because it's just one finger and touchscreen resolution isn't that great.
Yes. Your every move is being tracked, every word you say.

The data stays local on your phone they say but I don't believe it. Chances are if you live in even a modest size metropolitan area your face has already been captured by an AI linked camera either public or privately owned. The public data is available for sale to law enforcement and the private cameras aggregate the data for sale as well. Anyone who thinks that they still have privacy is sadly mistaken.
"the devices" are asking you to SCAN your finger/face so can be "easier" next time You Unlock the device/Pay for something, all that Biometric Data is "stored" in your device & cloud... Device Data can be Downloaded and read, and from Cloud also... Everytime you UNLOCK your device It Remembers the Pattern of your Face/Finger, so that means is STORED "somewhere", rest i'll let you figure it out!
I don't use face ID or fingerprint ID for anything.
You can bet your ass there's gonna be 1984 shenanigans involved
Yes. That's a big part of what Snowden was talking about.
Those are tools that allow the police to search your phone without a warrant or court order.
The government has my prints. I had to get government clearance.
Yes, rhere is really no expectation of privacy.
Actually there is a reasonable expectation of privacy that something you own to communicate privately would, in fact, be private.
That they disregard that expectation and use your own information against you, and against the provisions of the Constitution (4th Amendment, 5th Amendment, 14th Amendment) is absolutely corrupt and a violation of public policy. Yet we, as citizens, permit it to go on, and allow it to get worse and worse. All to our own demise.
It's hard to say.
The latter.
