Maybe the next logical question is “Have you ever?”. It only just struck me that some young adults may have grown up in a home without a landline phone.
Do you have a terrestrial telephone line? Have you always? Have you ever?

No. It's been a long time since I have had one, probably like back when my wife and I first moved in together maybe? I do still remember my parents landline phone number we had growing up though, but no clue what hers and mine were when we moved in together.

I still have a land line. It has an answering machine and it is my main point of contact. The cell phone is really like a toy phone.

I have a fibre line connected to my house that I sometimes you to make calls , but those are teams , zoom & FaceTime

We haven’t had one in at least 15 years in our home. It’s pretty much outdated these days with access to mobile phones that have more benefits and are easier to carry around, more personal.

Not in the commons sense. I have a landline telephone connected my router but this is an voice over IP router with glasfaser connection to ISP
