Whens the last time you got to relax and enjoy nature? Where did you go and what did you? Do you have any pictures to share of the place you went to? Today I had the joy of chaperoning during my child's school field trip. It was actually quite nice to not only spend quality with my child but to find the time to enjoy natural as well. We took a trip to a river to teach the children about the water cycle. The children built models of developed land and undeveloped land. Then pour water over them to simulate rain and observed how much water was lost or preserve in the developed model vs the undeveloped model. We then broke into groups and walked to different activity sectors along the wooded paths. The chaperones (me) had to help teach and guide the children through little games and experiments. Despite having seven adventurous children to watch over (and no I didn't loose any!) It was actually quite fun and once I got the hang of keeping the kids together rather relaxing.
