Are Caribbean trips safe right now?

My parents want to fly to the Caribbean for a vacation this winter but I’m worried about CoVid infections, we are triple vaccinated but I know people who got vaccinated and still suffered during their illness, I might request a fourth vaccine if we decide to vacation.

The unfortunate thing is that the vaccines are not the solution according to the CDC. They are more like first aid. You really just have to prevent getting it to begin with by not exposing yourself. You might have ti just not see your parents for a week after they get back to be safe 🤷‍♂️

Also, if it helps, if you are not overweigjt or have any of the other CDC listed risk factors, you likely won't get it, and even if you do, you will 100% survive. It'll only be like a cold or maybe as bad as the flu. It sucks, but you'd be fine. That's WORST case though.

Unless I misunderstood the question, and you're supposed to go with your parents! If that's the case, I'd say fon't go with them if it makes you uneasy. Gotta do what makes sense for you.
