I'm packing for a flight and as someone who has been frequently flying between continents (college student studying abroad) and mostly solo in the past few years I never get used to how anxious I get when packing every time. I enjoy the peace of solo traveling because I can do things on my own terms, but at the same time it feels so lonely and I just wish I had someone to be there with me. Ugh.
No but I can understand where you are coming from, in subcontinent we have to please the whole freaking family by buying gifts for everybody and if you forget someone, then they make a huge fuss about it.
I have suffered a lot due to this stupid custom and it's not like "I fucking hate it" but some relatives can never be pleased, and they tend to find problems in everything... you should make a list beforehand and match contents of suitcase/bags with it 3 hours before the flight.
No but I’m a guy and more used to it… One small carry one suitcase. And, hanging bag with big (like girl size) empty case to fill up and return with….

Yes I do. I tend to over pack for everything. I brought 5 pair of underwear for a one day trip.
Everytime I go some where I always think of what would happen if I got stuck or something so I bring extra everything. The whole time I’m packing I think of worst case scenarios.
Yes I get super anxious when I'm packing up, to the point where it makes me physically sick. Lol

A little yeah. I always feel like I'm forgetting something. As for solo, I actually find it far less stressful, because I have no one bossing me around and I can do things my way. Like my mom always rushes, because she's afraid we won't make our flight, while I know I have enough time. And even if I fuck something up, I don't make a big deal of it.

I'm always worried I forgot something, but then I remember I can just buy what I need. As long as I have a pair of jeans and some underwear, I'll survive.

Yeah I do. I worry I forgot something that something may break/get damaged or that in taking to much/not enough stuff all the time.
