I mean yea thats great and all. Tickeys startin at $500+. Lol i’m just a bit pissed that the stands are gonna block the views of the bellagio fountains. Imagine all the people who pay for fountain view just for it to get blocked off haha.

Racing in Vegas would be great if you could gamble at the track like horse racing. This is how racing first started and the only reason it became so popular. Just the simple act of putting some money down on a race puts some skin in the game. You are now a part of the event, not just a spectator. You don't even have to put a lot down to have fun. Gambling is how drag racing first started and became so popular. It still goes on at the local small tracks today. NASCAR rule changes screwed up illicit gambling and the viewers disappeared. They wonder why. Ironically, There's no gambling at Vegas tracks either. Another really bad decision.
Someone needs to wake up and realize that the only reason racing was so popular was because of the gambling. Stop treating adults like children. Whether you like it or not, it's reality. Bring back gambling to racing.
My kinda guy!! Yes i’d totally love to bet on racing
Yeah, The ticket prices are way too high to be just a spectator. That kind of Elitist mentality doesn't really work in America. Racing has always been a very blue collar type of sport, They are going for the wrong crowd. Lower the ticket prices and open up the gambling booth, it would be standing room only in Vegas. Otherwise, I would rather spend the money at the Kentucky derby this year.
You are making so many good points rn
I am more likely to attend F1 in the park across the street from me Dizzy. Shorter commute. Goddamn noisy as hell and that's just the race cars. Then there are the warplanes that fly right over my apartment roof.
It is quite annoying to have the roads barricaded off too. Public transport is buggered up for the week as well. Whilst they quick to put the barricades up they take their sweet time to remove them.
Nah I lied. I'm not going to attend. I hear it all too well from home.
Lol you’re a trip.
I'm extremely interested.
I already pre-paid for high floor corner suites in a couple of hotels to make sure I can get incredible unobstructed views of the track & race throughout the weekend.
I'm waiting to get my hands on several main event tickets for the grandstand seats closest to the start/finish line like I did for the Singapore Grand Prix years ago.
Holyyyy guacamoleee. If you got the corner suites why still buy a seat in the stands?
We'll see for ourselves if the suites truly have unobstructed views and if we can also clearly see the start/finish line and the winners podium. Days before the main event race, we will set up our balconies with the best video cameras we can bring. Hopefully, our equipment can get a clear shot of wherever some of us will be watching and then partying in the grandstand.
Good luck! I bought a corner suite once for strip view and i was mad that another hotel building was blocking that. I felt lied to. And don’t take anything valuable to vegas, all the maids and security got sticky fingers, no matter how expensive the room, and you’ll never get your stuff back.
I've been making special arrangements with the Managers of the hotels I've booked with. They've shared videos of the suites, the balconies and the views with me. So far, I like what I see but they've made me aware that the bleachers/grandstands that'll be built might spoil one or all our views from our suites.
We're well aware of thefts in hotels not just in Vegas but anywhere else. For that weekend, we're taking our own "security team" with us to protect us and our property.
Holy smokes y'all are prepared haha
For an event like this, it's rewarding to be well prepared. ;)
@DizzyDesii
Thank you for the MHO. :)
I don’t care about sports but I like the background social scene that surrounds it and the cool memorabilia they have. Just like I love casinos but I don’t gamble unless they give me free parking for spending money in the casino. The casino is beautiful, they’ve got good food and drinks, and it gives me a chance to socialize with friends and family.
Lol casinos in my state have free parking but the ones in Vegas dont

They'll block the roads the way Monaco does every year. No traffic in or out for the weekend of the race.
F1 has a buzz of it's own. I went to the British Grand Prix in 1991. The atmosphere was incredible and the sound of the engines is something I'll never forget, like hearing Concorde at Heathrow. A special music to it.
If I had the money then yes, I'd go to a race this year. Maybe not Vegas, but definitely one of them
Oh no i know about the traffic but i mean what about the tourists. Usually people walk that area to get down the strip. So i wondrr will the walkways be behind the stands so that people who didn't pay can't see the race
I looked into it and it's way too expensive in my opinion. I doubt anyone will be there unless they want to be for the race, or they don't mind spending way more than the usual. I don't really care for racing but thought it would be fun. I'd rather go a different week though mostly due to cost and congestion on the strip
Yea i saw the prices and was like whaaat
my friend already said '"we're going" and I said nope... lmao
he loves that stuff, and he likes LV as well, I like the F1 but enough to make it to it and certainly no way I'll ever step at Las Vegas lmfao...
so he'll go with my brother instead
Lol whats wrong with Vegas
too many public places... and their germs, lol.. tourists
Thats any big popular city though
which I usually avoid... lol
I'd go to the Australia GP with you, though...
I believe AU is gonna be just as packed 😂 but as long as you’re down to go haha. Two vamps burning in that AU heat
we can endure it... also, there are VIP accomodations, lol
Ohhhh reaally
yes, it might be a bit more cozy and cooler... lol
Wow that is nice!
Oh shit that sounds fun!! I would one hundred percent be interested in going if I could afford the tickets. Im not really a car guy or a gambler but both are big enough things that you got to just dip your toes in to. Like I want to go to a F1 race at some point in milt life. And I want to go to vagus at some point in my life…. Why not combine them?
Lmao why’d you spell Vegas like that 🥴
😂😂😂 because I’m an idiot!! I’m a phonetic speller… and it often leads to bad spelling…
🤣🤣🤣
$500+? At that price can we go together or something so I can actually enjoy myself? Only thing is I don’t know where I’ll be around that time so I don't know
😂😂😂 I’m laughing so hard rn
We have it here in Montreal... it's the biggest weekend of the year... and it's insanely expensive.. but cool to see
Wow!
I went a couple of years ago for the weekend when it was in Montreal, and I loved every Flippin minute of it. If I were to go again, it'd probably be at home at Silverstone
Oh wow!
If i had the money i would have definitely watched all the races and travelled over the world. But i am trying to that in some other way. Are you going to watch the race?
Probably not lol
Not enough to buy tickets early
I personally prefer nascar but it would
Be a nice event to attend
I had no idea this was a thing. I was just gonna take a trip to Vegas just cause the flights were cheap. But that’s definitely interesting. I can’t afford it though.
Usually when flights are cheap, hotels are expensive and vice versa. The summer i went, my flights were crazy expensive but my hotel rates dropped only because i had casino tier points
I wish. Redbull just signed Mick Schumacher which is a big wow news, racing side by side with Max Verstappen.
Holy smokes
I’ve never been, and i don’t think i can justify $500 at my interest level.
Lmao yea i dont blame you 😂 I wanna see actual nascar cars racing for that price haha
F1 is bigger than nascar. It’s like football and futbol. $500 ain’t bad for the event. Consider it the Olympics or world cup
@DrillBeats yea but i just was just never interested in the little go kart style cars. Okay well to be fair I loved my ariel atom in FH3 lol. But to watch a race of em, ehh I don't know. I mean it would be something to do. But like i said $500 is starting. I saw average prices say $2000 lol. May as well go to the superbowl
Don’t get me wrong I think it’s ridiculous to watch cars go around and around in a circle while damaging your hearing. I’m just saying the facts.
@DrillBeats i honestly didn't even consider my hearing. 😂 i was ready to risk it for nascar
Lmao
The value of a thing is relative. I wouldn’t pay for these tickets under any circumstances. I wouldn’t even go out of my way to “win” them. If you handed me ten tickets and i was out of toilet paper, i’d wipe my ass with them. I wouldn’t waste six minutes trying to sell them. They’re garbage, as far as i’m concerned. If i couldn’t give them away, i’d throw them away. If you don’t give a fuck about the event and would do otherwise, you’re a slave to capitalism.
You didn’t reply to her post. You replied to mine. Hit her up elsewhere indeed, dumbass. Avoid my posts at all costs in the future.
I already acknowledged that I replied to your post. Calm down with the tough guy act. No one cursed at you don’t curse at me. You wouldn’t act like this in person so don’t act like this on the internet. Happy new year dickhead
Sorry nah not a big fan of racing. I gonna stop watch racing after Dale Earnhardt Jr. stop racing in nascar. I know F1 might be different they go faster but racing has lost my interest.
I prefer Nascar too
F1 is going to vegas? Interesting. I give it 20 years and F1 is totally Americanized and we'll have more US based teams than European lol
Mmm i ain't gone say all that haha
Lol I'm just saying. Cause at the Texas Grand Prix the drivers are paraded around the track on the trailer of a semi with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders surrounding the truck
Oh wow
If I lived in Arizona 80 miles away from Vegas like I used to then yes but now I go to Daytona 500 and Saint Pete grand prix
Nice!!
ew. what a fucking eyesore. i don't think that'll work out very well in the long run.
Lmao
I do enjoy F1 andfor sure i wanna happen to attend at least one in ma life like it was for the World Cup 2022 @DizzyDesii
You went to the world cup?
Lol I was there since I live in Qatar now days.
No it’s out of my league. All I’ll be attending this year is the men’s hockey World Cup which is happening in my city.
Nice
I worked in F1, and still like it, just not as obsessed as I used to be.
What made you burn out
Oh. I didn't burnout from F1. It was just a sideline hobby. I burnt out of paramedics and became too busy with other stuff.
Vegas is always a good time no matter what’s going down.
So true. I’ve been looking into things to get into for a second time around. But i see F1 would be in November. I prefer Vegas in the summer months
F1 is cool because it’s unique but Vegas is a vibe all by itself
Yes and Yesss
Lol no.
Lmao
😂😂😂
I saw one thing showed in another country it goes up to $19,000 for the best seats
No plans for that event, but I'd go.
If I could I would
I understand
Wouldn't waste my money on that
Lol okay
Nah I'm not a fan of F1 GrandPrix.😩😩
I hear ya
Not interested.
I understand
Tickets are expensive lol but I like f1
Hope you enjoy
I have no interest in this event.
Not a sports fan
