Would you do vacation living if you had a digital career?

While vacationing in Mexico I was having a drink and reading my notes and a couple engaged me in conversation and they were retired seniors who were from Europe and living at the hotel for a few months to escape the winter cold. To me that sounds like a lot of fun, to live at a Mexican hotel for 2-4 months every winter so you can avoid the snow in your city. I could only dream of that type of lifestyle. And they were very nice people too, super respectful and not snobby at all despite being extremely rich.
