I’d really like to go on a week vacation but I don't know who or if i should invite anyone. The majority of my friends that could go are most likely to drink and smoke the majority of the time and that’s why I don’t want to go with them. For one I’m 7 months sober and would prefer to stay sober and I don’t want to be surrounded by friends that are getting fucked up and second I feel that’s all they would want to do. I feel that they would want to base the trip off of getting drunk or high the whole time and I want to base the trip off of adventures like hiking, kayaking, and sightseeing. If I were to go with them I’d be the odd one out and having to wait or schedule around them getting fucked up and Ik they are like that because for them getting fucked is their life style.
As for my other friends… not sure if they are a good pick ether because two are my roommates and if all three of us go then who’s gonna feed my cats? Plus one of them hate long car rides. And for my last friend well he seems to becoming a very angry person. His family makes him angry his work makes him angry, him not being able to find a girlfriend makes him angry and his roommate makes him angry. I feel like that dude is gonna explode.
I thought about inviting family but I don't know if they can afford it. 🙁 and if they could I’m pretty sure they would want me to keep my dog at home.
Should I just go with my dog?
