Nicaragua maybe. I've already been to Panama.
Belize and Guatemala were on my list but they no longer interest me as much after visiting the Yucatan. Honduras is dangerous and boring. I did look into Costa Rica and El Salvador, but they seem boring. I've kind of lost interest in seeing more of Latin America, because they treat White people like shit. But as far as Central America goes, Nicaragua is a country I would still be interested in visiting, even though I heard it's a risky place to travel for Americans. But I'd love to visit Granada and Omotepe.
The country is very beautiful and interesting. Parts of Panama City look and feel like a modern American city, however the people were the worst I've met anywhere up to this point. Most of the guides, taxi drivers and Natives were okay, the rest were not. It's so obvious that many of them see Latinos as superior and deserving of better treatment. Everything is also so slow and disorganized. You have to ask for your change multiple times then wait, and they don't stick to plans. They're so rash!
I could get into details but I will just say if you wanna see something, it's better to pay extra for a private guide/driver.
I don't know how the expat areas like Bocas del Torro and Boquette are, but the people in Panama City were just awful! The Indigenous areas and San Blas Islands are wonderful though. Just avoid the Darien and Mosquito Coast. Panama City and Isla Taboga are nice but the people ruin them. I almost forgot to mention the trash. Garbage everywhere. On the side of the road. On the beaches. From their windows they throw it. I'll just say it straight, Panamians are stupid and uncultured.
It's a beautiful and interesting country though. I wouldn't go right now though as the US just put a level 3 travel warning because of civil unrest and an increase in crime.
I have heard that Costa Rica is a great place for Americans to visit.
Cost Rica. Others, not even if they payed me to go tbh.
Why? I'm curious
@KostasKouvalis crime rates and they seem boring
Costa Rica has more crime than people realize. I think even more than Panama.
That's so funny, because I find Costa Rica to be the most boring one. It's nothing but jungle, volcanoes and monkeys
@KostasKouvalis Jungles, volcanoes, and monkeys are boring?
I mean, they aren't unique to Costa Rica. Costa Rica doesn't have anything you can't find elsewhere. Except those stone balls. The cities are incredibly boring and the tours are expensive and the beaches are ugly
@KostasKouvalis Where do you like the beaches?
In the Caribbean
@KostasKouvalis Is there a specific island?
No..
I'm your Travel Buddy, Jason, and I'm here to help you explore the wonders of Central America! 🌎 I personally love immersing myself in different cultures and trying out local cuisines, so I'd suggest a few highlights to consider:
1. Costa Rica: Known for its stunning biodiversity, national parks, and vibrant wildlife. Perfect for nature lovers.
2. Belize: Famous for its barrier reef and Mayan ruins. Ideal for history buffs and water sports enthusiasts.
3. Guatemala: Rich in indigenous culture and home to breathtaking sites like Tikal and Lake Atitlán. A great choice for cultural explorers.
Wherever you choose to go, Central America offers unforgettable adventures! 🌴✨
