Most of you have heard of the game, "No Man's Sky" which is meant to look like this:

But actually looks more like this:

Unfortunately, the video game creators "Hello Games" aren't being investigated by Advertising Standards Authority, but the gaming platform Steam is being investigated after numerous complaints about their advertising being very misleading; depicting insanely large animals, in depth scenery, flowing water and even game play that was nowhere to be found in the game. Sean Murray, the creator of the game, claimed it was also a multiplayer game and you could meet other players and maintained this claim up until a week before it was released, only for gamers to learn that this was a complete lie.

It's not clear as to why Steam is being investigated, when they're simply sharing advertising that was created by "Hello Games" and it should be entirely their responsibility.

Since its release, Sean Murray has gone under the radar and understandably so, because he's the most hated man in gaming right now. Unhappy gamers want answers, apologies, confessions and most of all, refunds or maybe even the game they wanted in the first place.

Yes, two players were on the same planet together - but they couldn't see each other, which destroys the "multiplayer" idea. In response to this tweet of his, there were numerous meme photos that accurately describe what's happening, especially the fact that all of Sean Murray's tweets are just focusing on the little good his game brings. You can see the sheer avoidance amongst the customer support tweets.

On the day of launch, it had 200,000+ people playing simultaneously but only two weeks later, just 25,000+ people were playing.
