There’s nothing wonderful about a man chasing a woman. I should just stop reading there. If the man can’t take a no that’s a huge big red flag? Makes you want to get even further away from that creep!
Another big red flag: A man saying any conversation with a woman will end up her accusing him of being a rapist. I doubt anyone’s actually encountered that situation in real life.
Many have encountered that situation in real life and I can name several that I know personally. One of them was my cousin. A girl accused him of raping her and everyone believed her till her lies came undone but his life is still ruined.
If you think these cases are "rare" then you know nothing and are ignorant.
I’ve heard about it tons online, but then again that’s hearsay. Never have I never seen anyone, or heard anyone in real life complain about it. Not to talk about all the convos I’ve heard where males and females talk do each other. If it’s so common that wouldn’t happen would it
If you think the way you approach women may make someone think you're a rapist, then you need to change the way you approach women. He sounds like an absolute loser.
Bullshit. My whole life, all I have heard is women (and just the media in general) highlighting all the things that are wrong with men. Meanwhile there has been nothing but encouragement and praise for girls. I have serious fucking issues because of that messaging, combined with the shitty way my mother treated my father. I grew up thinking I was an absolute shit stain and the only way I could contribute to a woman's life was by saving her from some random disaster (thank you Hollywood).
What the fuck are we teaching our boys about their value as human beings, or their desirability? We're teaching them that they are total shite. It's so fucking unfair. My life has been ruined by it, but it doesn't have to keep happening.
@soyboy999 well, my dear, I have met rapists. I have met molesters. I have met men who have done disgusting things to women. If this dumbass can't tell the difference between that kind of behaviour, and how to respectfully chat up a woman, then maybe he is more prone to those behaviours then he realises.
@soyboy999 and as a girl I was taught to pick up after men, take care of their needs, support them, and put myself second. I was taught that the most important thing a woman can be is a wife and child. The media showed BS Disney-esque storylines of girls needing rescuing and men being saviours. It goes both ways. BOTH stereotypes need to dissolve. Teach men to respect women. Teach women to be independent. Then we can support, love and care for one another as equals.
Does attacking men for even voicing their opinions on gender-related topics create more balanced, well-rounded men?
Does telling men from a young age that they can basically do nothing right produce well-rounded men?
Ever heard of the golem effect? It means living down to people's expectations.
If I hadn't been led to believe being male was such a crime in itself, I would have been more confident, and I would have had more interactions with women. That would have made me a better person than the bitter husk I have become.
@soyboy999 im sorry you've had a shit upbringing, but thats not how most people are raised. For example, my SO has a strong, independent mother who took care of them alone while his dad worked overseas to further his career. My SO has a profound respect for women. If he reads something or sees something about a radical feminist, he just laughs it off as a crazy person. Because that is not how most women are.
And men hit on you regardless. So it never deprived you of intimacy. Also, is it better to be told you're essentially expendable than to be told you're a princess? Really?
He is a celebrity, any accusation, no matter how unbelievable, could ruin his career. So, yeah, it is pretty reasonable of him to think that way.
To be fair, someone like that can be accused of harassing a person they have never even met, but at least he doesn't go around giving people motivation to do that.

It's not just this Metoo issue, people are picking on each other for just any reason these days. It's like this trolling habit on the internet has extended its dirty arms into serious social and legal areas. Some people are using sensitive social issues to harrass and isolate others. They are haters who just want to lighten their heavy burden of negative feelings by hurting others. I hope we can find a way to stop this. They are ruining it for those of us who truly do need help. Although I still agree with some posts that one or two no's from a lady mean enough is enough. I also see lots of comments about people's behaviors in bars. Honestly, someone in a bar is most probably pretty intoxicated, and may have quite a heap of issues if taking to alcohol is their release. So I wouldn't really say they are very responsible for their actions at that point. I'd be surprised if they were! I wouldn't COUNT on them for anything.
It is a very real concern among men that they can be punished for doing nothing or next to nothing because of the feminist attitude society is taking on Tho I don't know if i would blame it on the me too movement, that feeling has been around much longer Now obviously there are creepy fucked up men out there But there are also fucked up women. You here about women who lie about being raped and have no regard for ruining the guys life So yea its scary, i would imagine even more so for a famous man
Dr. Day said sex will be separated from marriage and reproduction ( i. e. "sexual liberation") to break up the family and reduce population. Abortion, divorce, promiscuity and homosexuality will be made socially acceptable. Gender-neutered and promiscuous, fewer people are able to bond permanently with a member of the opposite sex for the purpose of procreation.
He said that there are always two reasons for anything the Illuminati do: the pretext which makes it palatable to the gullible public and the real reason. Thus, we are being turned into homosexuals in the name of "women's and gay rights."
Absolutely. The irony of it all is that what feminists call "the patriarchy" exists in the rift between men and women. The more divided we are, the stronger the patriarchy becomes. It exists when men and women stop trusting one another, because men in power begin shunning or avoiding women as a matter of legal and financial survival. They stop mentoring young women. They stop interacting with them. Work places become more segregated. All of these things promote the us vs. them mentality. The powerful do not flock to women's defense. What they do is isolate women and call it defense, when in reality it's just risk assessment. A man can't even be accused to sexual harassment if he never interacts with a woman, at least not at the work place, and the segregation of men and women in the work place hurts women more than it hurts men.
I would simply hate to be a young man in this environment trying to get a date now. Us old guys have it much easier. There isn't as big a chance for misunderstandings.
But I hardly think Henry Cavill has much to worry about. There are millions of women who would gladly wait in line just to meet him.
As for the rest of these young guys, they are just average fellas. They are dealing with something entirely different.
I understand where he's coming from. I do think it's a good cause but I also feel u have women who will use it to get revenge or get something outta it. So can u really blame him. Not really.
I do to ane extent. I'll likely never approach a woman randomly as in see her at the grocery store and go up to her and hit on her. It would be we bump into each other (literally), I need to ask her a question, we're at the same event looking/talking about the same thing... etc. Many women these days are just rude. If every girl who rejected a guy would be polite and turn us down like this "thank you for the interest but I'm not looking to date right now/have a boyfriend/no thank you you're a gentleman but no thank you" it would be a lot less intimidating. And honestly if a girl is interested, she should do the same and approach the guy. It's a lot of effort making all the moves. Putting ourselves out there. If you like someone, do something about it regardless of gender. If you don't then clearly you don't think they're worth the effort anyways so move on to someone who will be worth it.
I can understand where he's coming from but I would also like to think that women aren't generally that sensitive and wouldn't shout rapist at everyone who they don't want to be approached by. I'm not saying women like that don't exist, though, because sadly they do.
I can see how a public figure like him would have to be extremely cautious about what kind of women he approaches, though.
www.google.com/.../nottinghamshire-police-count-wolf-whistling-hate-crime Misogyny hate crime is classed under the new policy as “incidents against women that are motivated by an attitude of a man towards a woman, and includes behaviour targeted towards a woman by men simply because they are a woman”.

The US set up that atmosphere, that environnement. I think the problem is much worse in the US where it started and spreaded. But it's spreading around the world. You already have women in germany complaining that no guy dares to approach them. In France we have a feminazi as a state secretary to men-women equality, who is openly using the concept of manspreading and mansplaining. Now I see 2 outcomes for it. Either it stays and dating is definitly fucked up, or people finally have enough of it and get rid of the idiots promoting that. In the US, it will probably last at least a couple of years more.
I understand where he’s coming from. But a person is labeled a creep when you do something creepy. It’s hard to come off as a decent human being. If you don’t approach someone with a sexual agenda, you won’t be accused of having one. (Well, there are SOME crazies out there ready to hurt your reputation, but on average, you won’t have to deal with that 😂)

But your average Joe has to put a bit of pressure if he wants to achieve anything. I have let go too many girls because I was just not brave enough to make that extra step, apply that extra pressure. Sorry, but without sexual agenda, sexuality and romance doesn't exist.
"Well, there are SOME crazies out there ready to hurt your reputation" Some? He is fucking Superman. The women who would gladly extort him in exchange for a relationship could probably fill several stadiums.

I definitely feel likely lately the line between predation and seduction has been blurred to the point that many men just are inactive in light of it. I definitely am hyper self conscious about making advances and that stops me a lot of the time.
For me to approach and really get sweet on a girl she'd have to be so forward and friendly as to indicate it is almost a sure thing. But I have an anxiety disorder and a lot of issues with depression and self esteem so I don't know how much this is an extension of that or the times, but both are definitely a factor.
I was just talking to a female friend about his Henry Cavill interview. I've approached a lot of women and never been accused of anything. You generally only have issues if you're being a creep and actually sexually assaulting people.
Times change, cultures evolve. Our dating practices have gone through a lot of variations over the years and trying to fix it to a certain point in time is an exercise in futility.
(Comment from my gf) while his statement is understandable as in, women could simply dislike the sex and say its rape (and thats why i would vote yes and my boyfriend did), there's the facts that 1. a healthy 80% of women are sane enough to not do that and 2. there might be a misunderstanding of what rape, sexual harassment and normal sexual habits are. Even then, i still agree with him
he's fear is unrealistic, noone will reject you or call you rapist if they like you.. if a woman is acting back off to you means she is not into you
its the same issue to women that approach guys; most guys dont actually prefer it cause exactly like said, they want to be the hunters won't stop me to do it cause one for me would appreciate it its a stupid excuse not to try
I've had so many experiences of women doing complete 180s on me that I totally get where he is coming from. I'm definitely scared of hooking up with women, and it actually stopped me from hooking up in college, because the fear of this kind of thing actually paralyzed me with fear.
@winterfox10 I have dealt my whole life with guys harassing me being catcalling or feeling up... we women fear to be raped/beaten by you guys and you guys fear women humiliating/manipulating you - think about that... women are bitter for a reason, it didn't come overnight
I never said that it did happen over night... I can certainly understand why women have gotten to this point, but I would also appreciate it if women would understand that not all guys are looking to hurt them or do some creepy shit. I"m just saying, have a little faith.
@winterfox10 not all guys are looking to hurt them or do some creepy shit - yeah, i know this and believe this nor I hate men but for the same reasons as you are reluctant to approach now, they are reluctant to trust... I think it takes time for things to change... things will change but its very hard to change anyone let along thing on society level...
@elizabeta I dont hate men, if you say anything against them with arguments it isn't hate but talking about gender issues men still rule the world but there is this fear of women for promoting feminism and calling them privileged, its a joke
I have personally witnessed many women fabricate accusations of physical assault, sometimes sexual. Many women (I would even say most women) will complain nonstop to their friends about what a jerk a guy is, and make sure he looks like a degenerate after any kind of argument. Many women have absolutely no qualms about blatantly lying to people's faces to get what they want. I even had a woman tell me that her boyfriend was a heroin junky who was cheating on her with his dealer so I would help out with groceries.
@winterfox10 all those examples are of some people that have issues and problem with lying, its more of the problem in the individuals, not the system lets be real, this is gag, people here are so delusional, this is not RL women dont hate men its not about men, its about women eg. as a cute little women i dont get the same respect as my male coworkers... its been a case everywhere... and its gotten better in some places but in most still isn't Men sure have their issues when it comes to gender issues, but they seem to care more about downgrading womans issues and feeling threatened about women speaking about them then worried over about their own issues like eg. not being shamed for crying in public and showing vulnerability...
As a cute little woman you have loads of opportunities to trade on your looks. Why do so many women pretend that most guys wanting to have sex with them is not power? Of course it fucking is. Most of the shit you see men doing in life is literally competing to raise their status so women will be more attracted to them.
Both privately and professionally, it gives you immense leverage if people are eager to sleep with you.
@soyboy999 if this was true you would have bunch of pretty women on top I have never exerienced this in real life, only in movies Im pretty and it really doesn't give me any benefits, youd actually have tob e immoral and sleep with the guy or else theyd hate you if you like just flirt with them or if you won't have anything to do with them and cause you're pretty most want to, I only experienced harrasment
Meh, the statistical likelihood of ever being accused of rape, while not doing it, here is basically infinitesimal.
Usually they get filtered out by the police either way, or don't hold in court.
For him, it's more logical since he is a public figure so it could ruin his reputation. But for regular folks it is rather stupid to not approach people because of a basically non-existent risk something malicious might happen.
It's basically zero. About 200 false rape allegations were filed in in my country, and there are 8.5 million guys. Omit children and you're at like 5.5 million. It's a neglectsble chance

Western women like to attack men a lot
@elizabeta attack? you mean verbaly? with arguments? god forbid
I seriously don't understand
This misandry thing going on
Why so much against men
Not the arguments, it's the unsubstantiated accusations that destroy our lives that we are objecting to
@elizabeta I dont hate men, if you say anything against them with arguments it isn't hate but talking about gender issues
men still rule the world but there is this fear of women for promoting feminism and calling them privileged, its a joke
@winterfox10 what unsubstantiated accusations?
Actually men are not privileged
@elizabeta its not about all men, its about the system that is treating a person differently cause of their gender
I have personally witnessed many women fabricate accusations of physical assault, sometimes sexual. eg. as a cute little women i dont get the same respect as my male coworkers... its been a case everywhere... and its gotten better in some places but in most still isn't
Men sure have their issues when it comes to gender issues, but they seem to care more about downgrading womans issues and feeling threatened about women speaking about them then worried over about their own issues like eg. not being shamed for crying in public and showing vulnerability...
Women who make false accusations against men should be punished depending on the damage done to those men
As a cute little woman you have loads of opportunities to trade on your looks.
@soyboy999 if this was true you would have bunch of pretty women on top
I have never exerienced this in real life, only in movies
Im pretty and it really doesn't give me any benefits, youd actually have tob e immoral and sleep with the guy or else theyd hate you if you like just flirt with them or if you won't have anything to do with them and cause you're pretty most want to, I only experienced harrasment
Okay. I hope things look up for you.
I've had so many experiences of women doing complete 180s on me that I'm not sure how small the chance of this happening actually is...
It's basically zero. About 200 false rape allegations were filed in in my country, and there are 8.5 million guys. Omit children and you're at like 5.5 million. It's a neglectsble chance
I'm in America. I don't know the stats off the top of my head, but it happens often enough here that it's something to be mindful of.
