Do people realise black hands have white palms?

a make up campaign for becca foundations came out showing their products on different skintones. there was backlash after showing the black arm with a black palm, which people saw as ignorant and exposes the lack of presenation working in and out of make up brands. are people really not aware of the fact that all palms r white? was this an act of people not caring enough to hire someone with darkskin to showcase their products or genuine laziness in the graphics department?

What a hullabaloo over stupid topics.. There should be celebration as before many black women were finding it difficult to find makeup for their skin tone now there is it’s still being nit picked..
It’s probably a stock picture of a hand and photoshopped to different shades of colour then the foundation tube added.. no news really

They probably only used 1 hand model for all the skin tones to save money, and then just didn't think about the mistake.

I don't think you'd realize the issue if you weren't black. I have black friends and coworkers, people I interact with everyday, and I never would have noticed the issue without it being pointed out.

they r a big brand they can do anything, hiring a model is couch change to them, either way all they had to do is make it resemble a real hand, and they didn't.

They do things like this all the time. Its the norm that every image is manipulated. Its a weird obsession by public relations people.

yeah like sometimes they alter images and the model loses a leg or gets an extra arm. it might be one of those mistakes i guess
