What a hullabaloo over stupid topics.. There should be celebration as before many black women were finding it difficult to find makeup for their skin tone now there is it’s still being nit picked..
It’s probably a stock picture of a hand and photoshopped to different shades of colour then the foundation tube added.. no news really
Thank you for letting me know this. I'm black and just spent 100$ on becca cosmetics last month. They just lost a customer
All humans have light palms
thought that was common knowledge but appparently not
They probably only used 1 hand model for all the skin tones to save money, and then just didn't think about the mistake.
i think so too. but isn't skin and makeup their whole thing? how do u not know where ur product is going to be on and how it is used?
weird to see faults go through so many hands
The people in charge of the advertising probably dont actually know anything about skin and makeup, they just know marketing.
but isn't their a single person working their who is black or have a black friend or seen someone in a shop and saw their hand
I don't think you'd realize the issue if you weren't black. I have black friends and coworkers, people I interact with everyday, and I never would have noticed the issue without it being pointed out.
fair enough
*cough*
Or perhaps they did that to show how well the product blends with the skin tone?
*cough*
i thought that too but theyve never done it in any other one and this is their new darker shades

I don't remember not knowing this, but I'm sure there was a stage in my early life when I might not have known.
I thought everyone had white palms
every does. thats the point, this company did it wrong
Wow so they purposefully dyed someone's palms for that ad?
Who says they even use real models? For all that we know these are just digital renderings.
they r a big brand they can do anything, hiring a model is couch change to them, either way all they had to do is make it resemble a real hand, and they didn't.
its weird, i didn't think that people thought black peoples palms r black
They do things like this all the time. Its the norm that every image is manipulated. Its a weird obsession by public relations people.
yeah like sometimes they alter images and the model loses a leg or gets an extra arm. it might be one of those mistakes i guess
Yes I have noticed that - Haven't a clue why?
FFS.. just drown yourself please..
Yeah every human has lighter palms
not black but they notice
Who gives a shit?
