If Polanski is a sex offender, then all the dudes I mentioned should be considered sex offenders also. Nugent had a 12-year-old Courtney Love suck his cock backstage. Trump was accused by a woman for fucking her at an Epstein sex party when she was 12 or 13. Elvis was hooking up with a 14-year-old Priscilla prior to their marriage and Steven Tyler got a 15-year-old's parent's to sign something so he could take her away from them for the purposes of fucking. And the girl Polanski was with wasn't "drugged and raped." From what I read, they did quaaludes in a hot tub. She wasn't forced. The girl was already experienced in both drugs or sex and she was into whatever he was offering. The only reason he got caught was because the girl's mom overheard her bragging about the encounter on the phone to one of her school friends.

Yeah none of that is true. Some one making a claim is entirely different then the claim made being provably true or even possibly true. Elvis never raped and while he did definitely court a younger woman, at the time it was legal and while weird not that uncommon for the era. As for the Ted Nugent remark, just no. I mean really? So Courtney love managed to sneak her way backstage at one of Ted Nugents concerts in 1976 and no one said anything nor did it ever get verified or as far as I can tell even stated by love herself? yeah, that's bullshit. As for Trump, also wrong, their is no evidence of rape let alone child rape. Don't know about Steven Tyler but I also doubt your claims. Further more your comment seems paradoxical, are you saying that its okay that Epstein (a democrat, friend of the Clintons etc.) raping little girls is okay? Well as I pointed out, it was legal at that time so that's first and foremost, second I did doubt it because you provided no evidence and I've yet to hear any one say anything about it (I looked it up didn't really find anything about it as far as Ted Nugent was concerned and all it is her claim and he states he doesn't remember anything like that and as far as I can tell their is no evidence to support the claim (as I pointed out a claim is far different then ACTUAL EVIDENCE)). Also you said rape, they didn't rape these girls it was consensual which again was what I was pointing out (again, I think its disgusting but it was legal at the time and it was consensual unlike what you where defending which was absolutely rape).
As for trump, again, their is no evidence of anything like what you said. As for him being friends with Epstein he hasn't spoken to the man for over fifteen years and has been on record stating he doesn't like him (they had a falling out who knows why). So that's in accurate and as I pointed out you are defending Epstein, ignoring his friendship with the Clintons (who flew down to his private island multiple times, who had Epstein help in their campaigns etc.) yet are also trying to slander Trump by claiming they where friends once, fifteen years ago and that some how reflects on Trump but not Epstein or the Clintons or other democrats. But keep in mind if that's your definition, then it was also "consensual" with Polanski's girl. She willingly took the quaalude and willingly engaged in sexual activity with him in the hot tub. She never stated otherwise. The only reason people call it "rape" is because of her age, which is the same as the girls in my other examples.

I have no idea what steven tyler did nor did I suggest what he did was consensual but the other two by the admission of all parties (with the exception of Nugent who states he doesn't recall this event ever happening) it was in fact consensual. So that's not really up for debate. As for Polanski, no, she said no, she went with him then she changed her mind and he forced himself on her anyway. That's rape. As for trump, again, you seem really confused. Stating something is different then it actually happening. You raped me. I've said it ergo you are absolutely 100% a rapist. So are you going to admit that you raped me? No, because an accusation isn't the same as actually having done something. Upwards of 40% of sexuall assault/harassment/rape allegations are false based upon several studies. Its also been shown that the longer the duration of time they wait to make an accusation the more likely it is that the allegation is false. According to her she was sexually assaulted by Donald Trump, over twenty years before, told absolutely no one about it, and also was trying to sell her book at the exact same time she decided to make this statement, with no evidence of any kind. That's not rape, that's an accusation of rape with very little well anything to support it. So again, that isn't rape. Also I would point out yet again, that you are saying rape is bad but only when the people you don't like do it which is really REALLY fucked up. Rape should be wrong period, it doesn't matter the political affiliation of the person, if they have commited rape that is wrong. If they actually found Trump guilty of rape in the court of law, that would make him a rapist, finding him guilty because some one said so and you hate him because he doesn't belong to your tribe however, is not guilt.

I stated an absolute fact, that is some one making a claim is not the same as the claim being true. That's not "having a hard on for trump", that's a statement of fact and one that should be apparent. So again, you are saying rape and pedophilia are okay, but only if a liberal does it, that's really messed up. Only THEN was it legal to have sex with his 14 year old "wife." A parent could not Give permission for their minor child to have sex with an adult because a minor child having sex with an adult, except after marriage, was illegal. Unless someone could prove Elvis was having sex with Priscilla, by being in the room with them, or she testified to it before they were married, no crime was committed. However, in the case of Polanski, he was convicted of unlawful sex with a minor in a plea bargain to escape the drug, alcohol and rape charges of the original indictment. This girl was 13. She was plied with alcohol and a quaalude. It doesn't matter where this occurred. Hot tub or not. It doesn't matter if she had a history of having sex or doing drugs with anyone previously. The sole issue is this girl was a minor. He should not have given her drugs and alcohol. It doesn't matter if she was asking him to screw her brains out. He was 43. She was young enough to be his daughter. He KNEW better and was taking advantage of someone who DIDN'T know better. Polanski was convicted of the lesser charge he plea bargained over but has never served a day of punishment. He fled the country and has lived a wealthy, comfortable life. I wonder how the girl he raped's life has turned out.

It's truly interesting that you expect 13 year olds to have the maturity and prescience to realize this when grown women get themselves in these predicaments and get raped or assaulted. Sure, girls and women have to be careful, but sometimes you cannot escape a sex offender. Sometimes they drug you unbeknownest to you, or attack and subdue you. The men cause these problems. Not the girls and women who are the victims. And there is absolutely no way we can determine that this woman is perfectly fine. I listened to that interview with her and she sounded like she had Stockholm Syndrome: sympathy for her attacker. She had trouble determining that he'd done anything really wrong. You need to ask psychologists about this stuff. Not victims.

There is one issue about Polanski. He didn't get sentenced and didn't serve jail time. If he had, I'd have no issue with him. He screwed up, aplogized, paid restitution and served his time. I don't think that one incident does define that woman. It's unfortunate. She's moved on. But a letter apologizing is not apologizing in person. It's cowardly. Absconding and avoiding your sentence is also cowardly. Nugent not remembering Courtney Love is convenient for him. Tyler's offense is just as bad. Polanski isn't the worst of the worst. But none of those others guys was brought to justice and didn't serve their time like he did. That's what he got away with. It's too late now.

@Screenwriter Well, you are wrong. Again, you are ignoring reality. HE SERVED JAIL TIME. He admitted guilt and he was in jail for over a month after accepting a PLEA DEAL. But then the judge wanted to make an example out of him and was heard to say he wanted to lock him up for DECADES. That's when Polanski fled. The jail time he served was not what he would have served if he had appeared for his final sentence. He was in sixty days or something. He would've gotten two to five years, most likely. And would've been labeled a sex offender. I've never heard of Tyler's or Nugent's offenses. And it seems they were never charged. Only 36% of women charge men who've sexually assaulted them. Only 12% of those men are convicted. Either the girls never say anything to parents, parents decide it's not worth it to ruin their girls' reputations, or they tell years later when little or nothing can be done. Look at Bill Cosby! Fifty women. Nobody spoke until one finally charged him, then they all came out DECADES after the incidents. When men are rich, powerful and famous, they can effectively fight or get away with such charges. And accusation does not mean guilt. There has to be some proof. I don't know what the "proof" is in the cases of those men. But none of the women went after the men. This isn't about being hypocrites. I think people are mad a Polanski because he was convicted. Those other men weren't even charged. If convicted, he should've served.

Under the terms of the plea agreement, the court ordered Polanski to report to a state prison for a 90-day psychiatric evaluation, but granted a stay to allow him to complete his current project. Under the terms set by the court, he traveled to Europe to complete filming. Polanski returned to California and reported to Chino State Prison for the evaluation period beginning on 19 December 1977, and was released after 42 days. Polanski's lawyers had the expectation that Polanski would get only probation at the subsequent sentencing hearing, with the probation officer, examining psychiatrist, and the victim all recommending against jail time. During this time, on 20 January, Polanski lost his job as the director of the upcoming 1979 remake of Hurricane that he had been prepping.
However, it is alleged in the 2008 documentary film Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired, that things changed after an ex parte conversation between LA Deputy District Attorney David Wells and the judge, Laurence J. Rittenband. Wells was not an attorney of record on the case, but was an attorney for the State of California, which was a party to the case. Thus, the communication with Wells was a one-sided external communication, which is prohibited by ethics laws. Wells allegedly showed the judge a photo of Polanski at Oktoberfest 1977 with his arm around a young woman, and convinced Rittenband that Polanski should not be released. The judge also allegedly dismissed Polanski's probation report as "whitewash".

All I can say is that the psychiatrist did not examine the victim and the victim recommending against jail time? That was a 13 year old CHILD... Not a grown woman. What does a probation officer have to do with what amount of jail time a man deserves for a crime? After 42 days they know the workings of a 43 year old man's brain who's assaulted a young girl using drugs? Four other women have come forward as being victims of Polanski. So this wasn't a one off. That's all I have to say about it. I don't think he's defensible.

Seen it and loved it! I also read Roman Polanski autobiography and also if you're up to date on what everyone including the youth at the time. It paints a very different story altogether.
