I think pulling out was the right choice. I feel like this whole war was just so that the US would feel safe and powerful after 9/11 but I don't think it was ever to help the Afghan people though they benefited from it. Why stay? So more soldiers can die? We were never there to protect those people and it's not like the Taliban is foolish enough to try and harm the US. I don't see why we would stay.

These countries have to learn to keep their shit together and not always depend on western states to come over and clean their stuff up. All they do is war, fighting over religious ideologies like Europe in the middle ages. Sure the west provided them partially with weapons but its not all the west's fault.
I honestly thing one of the worst thing the US did is get involved with the middle east in the 1940's. So if we have the opportunity to pull out I say take it. Also don't let it be the first and only time that it happens.
I thought Trump’s ‘Historic Peace Agreement’ had something in it about the Taliban not attacking US military or US civilians during the withdrawal. I guess that deal’s off. We should still pull out, but give the Taliban a good farewell thrashing.
Should have pulled out on May first like the original agreement stated.

The deadline is just a few days away. I have to believe that Joe's just confused and really doesn't understand what he's talking about. I heard a general say that in order to get all Americans out, we'll be there into 2022.
