Facebook called him a mass murderer and blocked messages that were counter to that narrative. Other media put out similar messages. He already has a lawyer who is waiting for the trial to be over and salivating at the prospect of suing the fuck out of Fascibuch and other media.
Do you remember Nick Sandmann, the kid who was confronted by a Native American man at a March For Life rally in Washington DC in January 2019? He was branded the "smirking kid" and slandered by mainstream media. His sin was wearing a MAGA hat. He wound up suing Washington Post, CNN, ABC, CBS, The Guardian, The Hill and NBC for slander and won.
There's a meme that shows his face with a caption that say something like "I got $250 million from the media for defamation". Below it is an image if Rittenhouse with a caption that says "Hold my beer."
I hope he does. He should hit Lebron and Biden in there as well. Go Nick Sandmann on them all.

Unfortunately, you have to be able to PROVE damages in court in order to win those kinds of cases. That would be tough for KR to do right now - though certainly he's going to pay a price for those things over time. Several years from now, he might be able to bring a case and show damages, but not today.
It's up to us - the public - to punish those who have said such things. Stop voting for them, stop consuming their media, stop donating money, etc. Vote with your eyes and your wallets.
That's already happening. Left-leaning media outlets have been seeing steep declines in viewership/readership over the last 6 years, despite wealthy supporters throwing billions of dollars at them to keep them going. CNN and MSNBC have been losing money for years, and the NYT and Washington Post (among others) are also being financially propped up. But many people still watch/read them because they've been doing so for a long time, even though it's obvious that they lie constantly, and almost never issue a retraction. They also - and this is at least as bad - bury stories that go against their narrative, so that people who depend on them for news don't learn about things they don't want them to know.
I read and watch news from a large number of sources, including the left's sources, because I can figure out what the truth likely is, and I don't fully trust anyone. But the "standards" for the left-leaning media is radically different, and far lower, than the standards for the right-leaning media, which is still far from perfect. But that's why ratings at Fox News and Newsmax are so high and CNN and MSNBC are so low - fewer and fewer people trust CNN and MSNBC, even though too many still do.
The other thing: you really need to be active in state and local elections, ESPECIALLY in the primaries to help keep bad candidates out in the first place. Encourage your friends and family to vote in these primaries and educate them on the candidates. Realize that your state and local governments are, say, appointing District Attorneys, and if you vote someone in who appoints a DA who won't prosecute crime, you get Portland and Kenosha and Minneapolis and San Francisco where people riot, loot, burn, and shoplift, and in the event the police bother to arrest the people doing these things, the DA will simply decline to charge them and let them go. That's how your city gets destroyed, and the businesses you count on - local and national - pack up and leave.
Yes! He was a minor when many of these statements were made. And sue Biden, especially, since he wasn't the President or a member of Congress at the time he made that "white supremacist" tweet. Therefore, there's no immunity for Biden!
Nick Sandmann successfully sued CNN for $250 MILLION. I'm pretty sure K. Rittenhouse has a case for defamation on his side.
Dude, Rittenhouse was a BLM supporter, He was there rendering aid he only defended him self when running away was not working. He was protecting his grandparents gas station when three idiots tried to roll a flaming dumpster into it which would have caused an explosion, Those same idiots were pedophiles, wife beaters, drug addicts, and arsonists.. They tried very hard to kill him, he defended him self against that.. And the media is still pushing this stupid idea that he was a white supremacist, and a murderer... Its sad. and incredibly stupid.
I hope he sues and bankrupts these organizations.

It's hard to successfully sue the media, which hides behind the first amendment. But he could be successful suing individuals who slandered him, including the President of the United States, who blatantly disagreed with the verdict by saying :
"Though the verdict will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge that the jury has spoken."

The media has a way of doing that to wire people up. They deliver about 90% fallacy before anything was brought to truth. And it's wrong.
They lied about him and tried to influence the jury. Biden too, DNC, all the media except Fox (which was the most fair) . The state of Wisconsin , the county , and city too.
This started when he was a minor, ended when he was "of age".
But, all things considered, maybe he could just go home, lick his wounds, and count his blessings.

He 100% SHOULD sue, but I don't think the juries will do much about it. This is the new normal, now.
