Russia doesn't plan to invade Ukraine. If there is any conflict, it will be in Donbas and Crimea as a result of the U. S. encouraging the Nazis, who took control of the country in a violent coup d'etat, trying to invade those regions militarily. If that happens, Russia will easily squash the invasion, but nothing more.
As for the U. S. economy, it's already screwed. Part of the reason the U. S. wants conflict in Ukraine is to stop Germany and France from buying Russian oil and natural gas via the Nord Stream pipelines because it will harm American corporations' profits.
Other bad news for the U. S. economy is, Russia and China just signed a major agreement. Part of it includes agreeing to trade in Euros rather than U. S. petro dollars. Quite a few other countries are eager to follow suit.
China is out competing the U. S. now economically, and there isn't much the U. S. can do about it. Decades of bad leadership has screwed this country. It's now in the late stages of eating its own people and becoming a third world country.
I sure it cost us more in food, gas, less pay over all hell who really knows.
I would probably make prices rise. But that wouldn't be as serious as dying or losing relatives and friends.
Just when you think we're getting out of covid to go into world war 3

Don't talk shit about it, Paris. This is not something to be point collecting over.
There is no "war," it's just the US and UK shit talking to detract the public from their domestic problems.
Even Ukraine itself questions what the fuck is going on with the rhetoric.

It wouldn't directly impact the United States but it would have indirect impacts. Commodities are globally traded which means wheat, oil, and natural gas will increase. That will hurt the US economy and directly make high inflation in the US higher. What could have the worst impact on the US is that Europe, but especially the European Union, would be more hurt by sanctions than Russia, and because of that, if the European Union has a financial crisis, it will eventually create one in the United States because of trade and connections in financial markets between the EU and Europe.
There is a real danger this could turn rapidly from a Russia/Ukraine War to a World War if the appetite for it is there. For the first time in years Russia now have the upper hand with regard to weapons..
Iran has weapons that can reach US and Israel. Russia have nuclear weapons that can be sent from virtually anywhere undetected.. These are scary times Paris. So scary that the economy of Western Countries should be the least of our worries..
Most of the middle east countries buy wheat from Russia and Ukraine, war will make it's price much expensive.
Natural gas will be more expensive in Europe and they will be forced to get it from middle east and east Mediterranean countries with a higher price and it will affect pertol as well.
If Russia won Europe will face waves of immigrants and Europe already can't deal with immigration camps and I illegal immigration, If Ukraine won Europe will lose Russia as a gas tanker and the security problems will increase rapidly.
It will be quite a booster for the weapons industry.
And another opportunity to show off in real time action - it's advertising for (mostly) free.
Bankers, brokers, gamblers and other parasites will take advantage to ease investors from their savings.
Politicians have a chance to slime in a few more votes.
As for myself: next to all my needs are covered with local goods. Why would I worry?
It's unlikely it will affect the US economy (other than the Biden's losing their investments lol). It may affect European economies dependent on Russian natural gas... it's likely Russia would increase natural gas prices to help pay for the invasion.
Very concerned. I think Ukraine should surrender without war.
It will depend on how much the United States gives Ukraine for aid and defense. Maybe if Biden increases US production of energy it might actually help in the long term.
Big business is just ripping us off I watched a special report on the fact if news people say it's going up food an gas an blame on inflation they Jack prices up so far the only true shortage is the computer chips do to big business want to buy them for pennies verses buy in USA for dollars cuz of labor cost
Russia isn't as tough as they seem we have always armed others in proxy to fight Russia like the Mujahideen in Afghanistan who ran the ruskies out their is really no difference Ukraine could really stand up for themselves with our support
It could cause the price of gasoline to rise even higher.
@nawtee_me I'm not a huge Trump fan but he would have been a better choice than sleepy Joe.
We can hunker down for at least a couple of months.
People just have to learn not to buy 3,000 rolls of TP at a time!
Yeah normally any war in the past affected most of the countries. I doubt there's gonna be a war but you never know
Not really sure but it’s going to put a strained relationship with the USA and Russia
I think it would have major negative impacts
We might even see China take advantage of the situation.
what is good for the economy because the military spends a lot of money on war...
I am not far from the risk zone.
If I'm super lucky, I'll get a quick death. Dying of old age is way worse anyway.
I don't know I haven't been following a lot of things because I'm so busy working
We have no business there except maybe selling them arms and ammunition, Paris.
Denny’s will charge more for their meals
It's a distraction from the Ghislaine Maxwell trial outcome.
UK here. We get a lot of our energy from Russia so if anything happens to disrupt the supply we're boned.
Another day Another crisis.
👍👍👍
It won't as long as we stay out of it.
Nothing good will come of it.
