this inflation thing spiraling out of control , aside from gas which is the most obvious and most annoying to anyone who drives a car

what other price increases have annoyed you , i was at a chain sports bar the other day and suddenly they wanted an extra $ 1 and chain for a bottle of beer , seemed a bit much , never paid that much for a bottle of domestic beer before

the one fast food place i go to also raised the price of there special , used to be $ 8 now $ 9 and a donut shop i go to now charges an extra 30 cents on a cookie that used to be a dollar , why the extra 30 cents?

local sports bar/chain restaurant its now almost $10 for 1 bottle of corona , i had one yesterday and gave bartender a $10 dollar bill and wasn't even enough change left for a tip

Cars. Mine's functionally dead and needs replacing, but the idea of a car costing less than a grand seems to be a thing of the past. Even the old Craigslist beaters are well above that now- and often for cars that don't work.

Going to eat cost a lot more, eventually people will cut back on eating out and driving and then businesses will also suffer until the USA starts to become more independent for things

Not just a increase but the constantly doing it, for example a fast food place, I used to get a thing that was $4.99, and that was Jan, then in March it was $6.99, now in June its $8.99.

At another place they had a 10 dollar bundle, that they upped to 15, so big jump.

Also people talk about how eating at home is cheaper, not always... sure if you have a lot of people, bunch of kids, it is, but I tried making home made Chinese food and spent $80 dollars just getting the million different ingredients I needed for all the parts. Like crap, I could of just bought it from a restaurant for $30 dollars. Which is in fact what I did the next time.

i know the fast food places here used to do a lot of coupons and specials but none lately , one spot used to have a $ 7 deal a couple years ago then $ 8 and now $ 9

Groceries have gone up.

I would go to the HEB (supermarket chain in Texas) to make a breakfast food trip ( eggs , English Muffins, ham, turkey bacon, bananas, strawberries, black tea, orange juice) and it runs me around $ 35 or so. Now it runs up to $50. My car would fill up with about $28 now it costs about $40. My rent has increased by $70.

My stock investment value has gone down ( also crypto) so it looks like the next few years will be Bear although this does not vex me too much since I have no plans of selling anything until I retire; the market has always been a roller coaster anyways.

On a personal level the increases are annoying for me but I am not going hungry: I am a bachelor with no kids and almost no debt ( less than 500 $). It's the people who have a mortgage, three kids to feed , and new car payments that are really going to feel it.

Groceries. I am already struggling to get the nutrients I need. The increase in grocery prices has forced me to cut out some of the foods I normally eat and I have been getting very sick as a result. This is affecting my exercises, which is affecting my ability to be ready when the time comes to try out again for law enforcement.
