It wasn't that long ago that, when this form of question was posed, there were dozen of posters any over the concept of taking their guns away. Now there are very few.

The general public has become extremely open to what has become obvious.

Chicago has some of the strictest gun laws in the country with the highest murder rate.

Mass murder isn’t specifically a gun problem. The worst single event of mass murder in the US ever, taking nearly 3,000 lives, started with box cutters. The next worst, taking 168 lives and wounding hundreds, was done with a fertilizer bomb. The worst killing in a school (Bath MI) killing 38 kids was also with a bomb. A semi truck in Nice in 2016 ran down several hundred people, killing 86. The Boston Marathon attack killed only 3, but horribly wounded hundreds, and they used pressure cookers.

There are 100 million registered gun owners in the US, give or take.

Consider the potential hypocrisy involved in wishing to restrict millions and millions of peoples’ firearm ownership as a measure to reduce “gun violence” while not being willing to strongly address people who actually commit gun violence.

You want to eliminate everyone else's right to keep and bear arms without even giving them a first chance.

I can no longer find the videos I watched at YT about 5 years ago but, the short version is, there was secret military base in Montauk, New Jersey. Most of it was underground.
