The US state of Florida has a serious problem. Burmese python snakes, not native to Florida and with few predators, have decimated wildlife in Florida, eliminating over 90% of small animals and killing many birds.

Catching the snake is fairly easy (they're not venomous) ... if you can find them.

Florida is now using robot Rabbits to lure the snakes out of their hiding places so that they can be captured.

Do you think that will work?

Are there rabbits in florida? Can't see them lasting long in the everglades. Why not live prey in cages that would give off real scent and heat signature? If you don't want to down that route then just drag a dead chicken along to leave a scent trail.
