How To Stop Flirting
|
Flirting is a way to express an interest in someone but sometimes, you just want it to stop. Follow these steps to make that happen.
1. Try a blank stare. If you stop talking back to someone they will probably get the point.
2. Take a step away. The farther away you are, the more comfortable you feel. If this person seems to be following you or will just not leave, join a group. This way there are more people so you won't feel as singled out.
3. Be honest. If you don't like someone tell them that. Everyone makes it sound like you have to let a guy down easily. YOU DON'T! There is nothing wrong with straight telling someone you are not interested. If you make it sound even a little nice the guy will most likely continue bothering you. If you directly ask him to stop and he won't take that as an answer- you made the right choice. You don't want to be with someone who can't accept an honest no for what it is.
4. If they're still bothering you do not answer them at all. Ignore this person entirely. Don't even look. If will rarely get to this point but if it does then stop all interaction. If you tell someone 10 times that you are not talking to them you have already talked to them more than you wanted to. The only way to stop communication if to simple stop communication.
Remember that guys can be hurt when rejected, but don't be afraid to let them know you are not interested. =]
