With a little bat of your eye lashes, a lick of your lips, slight wink or smile, you can totally control the way a man is thinking about you. Flirting has always been and will always be a very strong female tool when it comes to having power over men. You can have a PHD, own your own major company, be the head of a law firm but a woman in a tight skirt who knows how to shake it will turn the head of every man in the room, and she won't have to be a genius to do it.

This is not to say that men are shallow. Eventually what you know, and what is in your heart, will matter to them. First however, you have to catch their eye. You have to attract and their imaginations. We have learned from some great flirtatious women how to tug at a man's desire. Marilyn Monroe couldn't have done more to bring men to their knees, in real life as well as in the movies. I can't imagine any woman who wouldn't want to have that kind of sexual power over men.

We are not giving up our intelligence when we flirt, rather, we are allowing the man to feel that he holds the key to our desire. We need to allow the male to feel that he's inspiring this flirty behavior in us, because we are attracted to him. By giving him a sense of power, by encouraging his ego, we are sparking something very special that happens between a man and women - chemistry.

Maybe we can't flirt our way out of the speeding ticket, like they do in the movies, but we can make a man trip over words, and lose his train of thought. It's not just the visual that distracts, attracts, and holds a man powerless. You can do the same thing with your voice and words. Men are not just visual, they are sexual, and any way you can trip that wire is a way to gain, and maintain control. Flirting with words and voice is very effective in many situations.

Some of the ways that we flirt have become so second nature to us we don't even recognize that we are doing it. Down deep we are just women, and men, who crave and share the same sexual desires. We need and want to connect on that deep animalistic level. Flirting between men and women is the very beginning of courtship.

It's the dance of the wild. Tummy tingling, heart pounding, light headed laughter. It's what men and women are supposed to do, and it's ok to want it, to enjoy it and by all means use it.

DeanW I'm more impressed by a girl with a PhD. Girls who aren't great at the whole batting my eyelashes look at my belly-shirt kind of thing shouldn't lose heart - a guy who is interested only needs a sign that it's okay to approach you. - 7 months ago
marisa I've used my flirting power to both land dates and business deals. I agree is a powerful tool and one that shouldn't be abused. - 7 months ago
nobodygirl It's kind of sad this has to be all Scarlett O'Hara and full of rules, but this is so true. - 7 months ago

Guys: Do you really fall in love with a girl?
lvrgirl2011 asked 7 hours ago

Yes, I've been in love.

No, I've never been in love.

I'm scared to love someone.

LOVE is an over-used word that doesn't have meaning.
