This girl (my supposedly friend) knows I like this boy . The usual case is when your friend likes a guy, you back off . That's the right and proper thing to do especially if you don't like him in the first place . Call me territorial but I don't want her to get into my group of guy friends, especially since she has a boyfriend and she still flirts with the guy I like when he pays attention to her . I HATE IT . What do I do ? Obviously, I can't slap her like I would love to .
I act cold and try to exclude her . I really don't want her to be friends with my friends . Especially since I'm the only gal in the group and she tries to get IN .
I hate to be the one to say it, but have you read your own question? How do you think you're acting towards her? It's not exactly exemplary, you know. The truth is that the only claim that you have on the guy is that you're friends with him. You don't have a ring on your finger, and he hasn't even asked you out yet, so he's still fair game. You feel threatened - that much is obvious. Guys that I know hate it when girls fight over something like this, so please withdraw your claws. Make your own moves on this guy rather than just fighting to get another girl away. Doesn't he have a choice to make? Let him make that choice rather than taking his choices away.

Believe me, I can understand. In the past two girls I've liked, one of which I'd say I actually loved, they went for another guy, and a friend at that - the exact same one. I didn't do anything about my feelings for them, so I can't really blame him or anything. You need to DO something about your feelings. With the girls I mentioned, esp the one I say I loved, I was actually happy for her because she was happy with him. Could you find it in yourself to be happy for them if it isn't you chosen? - 9 months ago
