there's this sophomore(I'm a freshie) that I have a huge crush on. I've never talked to him, but I don't just like him for his looks, as a matter of fact, I think a lot of people think he's ugly. its just that I feel very attracted to him. we've made eye contact multiple times and I've seen him staring at me quite a few times since school started(and yes, I'm positive he was looking at me). I was thinking about approaching him. but then, a few days ago me and my friend walked by him and his friend and they both laughed out of no where. what does this mean?
Maybe they were having a conversation about car beds. Your crush wants a CB radio for christmas so he can talk to other car beds, and his friend laughed at him...
Don't take things so personally. I doubt he was laughing at you. I'd definitely approach him. It's nice that you aren't all about looks, they aren't everything.
Dont take things way too personal he could be talking about something else and you walked by at that moment.. unless he was pointing or something..!? was he?
eitherway, it could be anything.. he could be telling his friend (thats her) by his laugh! he could be doing this to get your attention.. he could be laughing at something that has nothing to do with you...
most probably doing this to make you notice him...Specialy if he is a shy guy, shy guys don't have the guts to talk to women and even if he does he will always be afraid of rejection.. so he would try to make noises around you, eye contact with you, smile and look away, sit close to you but never talks to you...etc etc!
what I would do is go talk to him, I was in the same situation 4 years ago with a very hot, nice guy ( for 2 years! who used to stare at me the whole time and I used to melt everytime, but I never acted on it.. I missed my chance and now I have no idea where he is.. so don't miss your chance like me... act on it!
even if it turned out that he doesn't like you or ditch you, when you talk to him, then..it would be okay so what! because you'd put an end to this crazy eye contact that pierce your heart and gets you through the day!
But am sure he does like you, the only way to know is to get moving and do something about it!
they're guys. laughing randomly is what they do ;P lol don't take it to heart. if anything he seems to like you and if he was laughing when you walked by, then he was most likely trying to get your attention.
