I e-mail my ex-boyfriends' friend all the time and tell him all about how my life is going and my ex boyfriend totally stopped talking to me. It seems like the friend is the spy for my ex. Why do this? Why can't he ask me himself?
He might be asking his friend to "spy" because maybe he thinks that you wouldn't tell him the exact things that are going on in your life, even though I don't know you personally, I don't think you would do that. But I know that's how my ex was. He would ask his friends to talk to me and then his friends would tell him, and I may of told his friend something that had to do with my ex to get him mad. So just be careful with what you say to his friend.
