Why was my boyfriend acting a certain way?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 8 months, and the longest we have been apart is 2-3 days. So we're used to seeing each other almost everyday. Right before he was leaving for a vacation, a few weeks ago where he wouldn't be seeing me for 2 months, he wasn't making eye contact, and he wasn't saying much to me. We didn't have any previous fights, or anything else that I know of that could have upset him. He was also acting a little bit different than normal the whole last week he was here. Any ideas of why he was acting this way?

He probably didn't want to leave and I would guess it would hurt him leaving u.That he didn't want to see you sad or something like that.That the only logical thing I can come up with good luck.
