Well. I finally got up the courage to talk to the guy I like (let's call him Fred). He always stares and looks at me, but never really talk to me, and I never really talk to him. Even though I have known him since kindergarten. I used to talk to him a lot but I don't know what happened. Anyway. Me, fred, and my friend came back rom lucnh and none of the classes were open yet so me nd my friend waitied in front of the door. Well Fred came along and he stood farher away from us, but then he kind of moved closer. And he didn't talk to me, but he was kind of lingering around me and my friend. He looked really interested in the lockers haha. well he was just standing there and I was preparing myself ot say somethin to him. So I was like, Fred? And he turned around and I said did you get taller. And I almost kicked myself after I said it because that's the dumbest thing in the world to say to someone, and he is pretty tall to begin with. Well then the door to my classroom opened and I was about to turn around to go, but he came up and stood right in front of me and he asked me whar my class was. And I told him it was sewing and he said oh that sounds like fun (kind of sarcastically, but not in a mean way). And I wa slike yea it is (not sacastically.) So I put on my bag because his classroom opened and I tured arond to start walking to my class. ANd then I turned back around to sya bye to my friend, and he was still there and he didn't leave until I had gotten into my class. Ok that was long sorry. But was it too dumb of me ot say "did you get any taller?" and to me it seemed like he was trying to keep me from leaving because he started up another conversation that was completely pointless. and he moved so he was standing in front of me becaus ehwne I asked him if he got taller he was stnading farther away. And I swear it looked like his cheeks were red (I know mine were0, but I don;t know if he was blushing or if he was hot because befor elunch he was playing basketball. What do you think?
He was lingering near you. He probably wanted to talk with you and be with you alone (without that other friend there). And yeah, he probably wanted to talk with you more so he stalled or walked in front of you.
It's hard to say just from these actions, but he may be interested in you. Give it time I'm thinking it might develop. He's shy, so try and run into him when you're alone so he doesn't feel intimidated by other people.
Its hard for me to thinkof his as shy because he is very social and always making everyone laugh and once I start talking to him he can talk to me pretty easily - 4 months ago

It isn't that he's shy, I don't think ANY guy wants to talk to a girl he's interested in if she's near other guys or girls. - 4 months ago
