What do GUYS think of shy girls??

I could describe myself as a loner. lol. But I really am a nice person. Do I give off scary vibes or something? I have been told by people (not really guys) that I am pretty, but I can't help but think that guys think I am "crazy". Today in class, out of all the people in the classroom the teacher asked me what my expectations were in this course  throughout the year. First I said "I don't know. " Then I said "do well".  For some reason people laughed in the classroom. I don't think it was meanly, but I felt really embarrassed. I think my face went red, and I sounded a little nervous. Do guys find this repulsive, when a girl is really shy/quiet? Do you think she is retarded?  Do you ever want to date a shy girl? If so, why don't you ever approach her? I may be quiet, but I DO like talking to people. When people don't talk to me, I feel just awful, even though I don't like talking at the same time. Just honestly, what do you think of shy girls?

Here's the problem with shy people in general is that their shyness is mistakend for coldness. The smile you didn't give, the question you were asked but didn't elaborate on are all anti social syndroms.

I have cousins who are attractive girls but do not have any social skills. They are often seen as bitches or mean because they don't have any social awareness. They miss thank you's and attempts from people who try to get to know them just because they don't understand what the hell is going on socially.

Although shy, my cousins are the sweetest people in the world but they are just socially enept and unfortunantly, it holds them back so many ways emotionally.

So although you are pretty and attractive, being approachable is very important for you meeting people in general.

What you need to do is start making new friends and putting yourself out there for the next few years to acclimate yourself to the social world.

The longer you wait, the harder it is to do this.

I think there is nothing wrong with shy girls, I think it might be pretty average for girls to be shy its guys that are usually more outgoing, I don't think the students were laughing at you they were laughing at your humor, Besides that I think shy Girls are cute and gives me a reason to protect them. I would definaltley ask out a shy girl, No they are not retarded! or repulsive! sily. And next time You make a joke don't get embarresed, Because the students would of thought they were stupid for not getting a joke. the only thing I would recomend is act more confident.

okay now. TRUST ME! I KNOW THIS SUBJECT!

when a guy talks 2 u, and ur conversation ends so soon, it makes them feel uncomfortable and akward! They want to talk 2 u.but don't know how to, because they think you are ignorin them or tellin them that ur not interested. Even if they know ur shy, they just don't know how to talk to you, and they don't understand that you won't open up 2 them immediately. it takes time 4 you 2 get comfortable around someone you like, and they just move on and go for the OUTGOING girl. They want to get to know you, but are 2 afraid of lookin stupid, or soundin stupid and you shun them down. (REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE TALK)

My advice is this, be confident! Really loud girls the ones screaming and making a fuss are not as attractive as well I guess I would use the word calm for lack of a better word. Depending on the guy you are trying to attract, it may turn out he likes no-confidence girls but personally and from other guys I know confidence it key, hope this helps.

Naturally a lot of people aren't sure how to approach someone as shy as you seem to be. We think that since you don't give us a response you aren't interested in continuing any conversation.

Why not write a note of appreciation to someone who you would like to talk more with?

That way they would know where you and they stand. Would that make it easier for you?

are you kidding. I love shy girls. there the best cause they save all there innermost seacrets for you. and you can show them places they have never been. I'm an x football player and very aggresive with women. I would always go for the shy girls. they say opposites attract. they would get all nurvous when I asked them out. but I didn't take no for an answer. if I saw a shy girl with freckles and she was single I was making her my girlfriend.
