There is this guy that I like and we used to work together. We always flirted and he was sweet towards me and it made me feel that he likes me too. (You can read a summary of it from my other question.)

Since he quit however, we've hung out twice with some friends from work at the clubs and I've noticed that his behaviour towards me has changed. He wanted me to hook up with some of his guy friends and he was also protective of this other girl we're both friends with from other guys at the club. I'm feeling really confused and scared. Did he ever like me? Is he just a flirtatious guy or is he a player?

Since he didn't make a move on you we can assume he's just flirtatious, and you can also assume he likes you, it's just that since you don't work together he's busy with other friends.

At this point YOU are going to have make some sort of move, give him a clear signal you're interested, because you can't rely on the daily banter at work any more!
