I've read many accounts of girls painting a guys nails (usually toenails). I didn't give it much thought until my girlfriend asked to paint mine. Is is for ridicule, for control, for relationship-building (how far will he go...?), What? Anyway, just curious what girls think about it.
When I did this to my boyfriend when we first met- I thought it was cute but he obviously didn't. LOL. We do it for love, also just in case when you go out in public too so other girls will know you are taken if you happen to take your shoes, socks off anywhere, LOL. We are marking our territory.
Hm. In elementary school I convinced all the guys in my 4th grade class it was cool for them to have painted thumbs. I told them it was the new trend, haha. At that point I just did it as a prank and for personal amusement.
In high school I asked my boyfriend jokingly if I could and he said yes. I never painted them though because I knew it'd just look dumb. I was surprised he even agreed.
I guess girls just like to see how far their guy will go for them...
Because it's very entertaining to watch you guys complain and sometimes we're just bored or we just want to see if you will actually let us do and it. Let's see how much control we have depending on the colors you let us paint on your nails.
Sometimes it's just cause we're bored. Me and my friends did it to this one guy we knew and we painted each nail a different color, he was complaining about it the entire time, but hey, we were being entertained. ^_^

I always did it for control, because if you'll let me paint your nails pretty glitter pink you are totally whipped and I like it. Or I do it in a group of friends because we're not attracted to you and its really funny, especially when you can't get it all off and you go to school the next day.
