a month ago I started dating this guy (James), everything was going great on the first week, then at weekend we went to this party. There I talked with the other guy (let's call him tom ) and he asked my number, I gave it to him 'cause I thought him as a new friend. The next day we had a little get together with friends, and "tom" called me. I found out that he was coming too 'cause he's friend of James. So, when Tom came James stopped talking to me and fully ignored me. he haven't talked to me since while Tom keeps calling me. Did I screw things up with James accidentally? Because I'm really confused about his behavior. I like him very much and he said he liked me too, but now he doesn't answer my text messages nor calls. I'm not even sure if I did something wrong, did i? what should I do?
James is also confused as to what kind of girl you are and what kind of relationship that he's just stepped into. He sees you with Tom as you being promiscuous, although your intentions with Tom were completely innocent, James is jealous and at the same time discouraged. James might be the jealous type of boyfriend, so you have to be careful of how you interact with other guys.
You need to talk to james about all that happened, and show understanding as to how that might look to him, but set him straight, hold his hand, be playful and affectionate towards him and he will get the picture. But you have to start with a good long talk about what happened with tom.
