Ok so I had a date a first date on Thursday. It went better than I expected because I thought I would only stay 30 minutes maybe. We just met up for drinks. And after the first drink, he said he was getting another one and if I would like one. We had a lot in common and were having fun (like same movies, music, live in same area) so I didn't think about it and it ended up that we were there for 2 hours. I told him I had an early morning and so I had to take off.
During the meeting, he mentioned meeting up again a few times - 1) because I said he didn't seem a certain personality type which he said and he said he would prove it at a later date 2) he brought up something about his upbringing but it was after I mentioned I had an early night and so he said it's a long story and he will have to get into it next time and 3) when we said goodbye (just kiss on cheek), he said he hopes he can see me next week and I said sure that's a good idea. Then we parted ways. I sent him a text the next dya to let him know I had fun and I hope we can catch up again soon. And he responded that he felted similarly and wished me a nice weekend away - I was just traveling out of town for a wedding and just returned. I think I gave positive signs - laughing a lot, staying for 2 hours, and responding positively if he alluded to meeting up again.
What do you think about the date? What should I expect as far as timing for him to get in touch? Also I will be traveling to London this Tuesday for rest of week which I didn't mention, so it is unlikely I would have time to meet soon. I would love to hear your thoughts esp. from a guy's viewpoint.
