Guy Friends Being Mean

Well if he really didn't like I doubt he would be giving you rides and texting you. Guys will often amke sarcastic and rude comments to girls jsut beacuse it takes the edge off talkign to them. Instead of feeling vulnearable and saying polite things and getting "rejected" (I kno girls generally don't reject compliments but the male mind is not exasctly practical) Basically by insulting some1 you're interested in, you don't put yourself on the line and you keep the option open to not get close and not have any regret or emabarrassment if the other person doesn't reciprocate. It's kind aof puzzling that you amde out and I assume were close to him for a time. Usually insulting beahvior is used when a guy approaches a girl for the first time and feels nervous and uncertaina bout how he will be received. All I can say is try and reassure him that ur interested and the mroe he feels comfortable the more he won't feel a need to hid behine insulting remarks. Of course, this also could jsut be in his anture to be somewhat of a jerk but it doesn't seem that he means any harm either way.

My best guess would be that he likes you in a romantic sense but is flirting with you in a really nasty way. I would suggest that you see if this persists and watch how things go. However, you may have just answered your own question, maybe he is just a jerk and you would be better off without him. Look into your heart and see if your feelings for him make it worth sticking around. If they are not then dump him.
