my family and I go to a restaurant and there is a good looking host working there. once about 4 months ago my friend started a conversation with him and he seems like a sweet guy (then again he's doing his job) but still he seems decent and he's cute IVe been there a lot so I've seen him quite a few times but I never talk to him. he smiles and I smile back (once again he's probably just doing his job ) but I think he's cute and I don't know how to ask him out I just want to give him my number or something. I just don't know how.

A girl friend of mine did something exactly like this and it worked. Next time you can, go out to the restaurant he works in and bring a friend (and not your family) with you. your friend being with you makes it look like you aren't there for just him and she can tell you if he looks interested. Flirt with him when you come in and see if there is some chemistry. if there is then write your phone number down on a napkin or something. When you leave give him your number and say something like "feel free to call" and smile. when my friend did this she got a call from the guy the next day and they ended up dating for a few months, good luck
i would just go for it; maybe ask him if he has any other favorite restaurants (besides this one, of course).if he mentions a few you could suggest that he takes you sometime and shows you what's good
I've worked at a same restaurant for 3 years. I mainly bartended and waitressed. But I was a hostess when they needed one. Let's just say that there are a lot of weird people out there. There are many people who try to ask them out and leave their numbers (especially if they're cute). Most of the friends that host or hostess don't take those people seriously even if they're really good looking. So, make sure that you're serious about it and not just some random weirdo (they will talk about you in the back every time you come back. this is from an experience).lol. Make small conversations and ask him where he hangs out with his friends and get to know him a little better before you ask him out on a date (he may ask you after he gets to know you). Good luck!

Not to let you down or anything, I don't know if you could tell that he likes you just by him looking at you. All hosts, servers, bartenders look. To keep up the good service you always have to look. Hosts have to keep coming back to look to see if people got their food, if they're finished, how much longer until they get up, or look just to act like they're doing something...lol. Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
I pick the lady up and we go out to dinner. Some place semi-quiet so we can talk but not too quiet I don't want it to seem overly romantic. Depending on the time of year we might do something outdoors like mini-golf or a football game, otherwise go to something indoors where it's warm. Not a movie, because I want to get to know her. I take her home and walk her to the door. The End.
