Smooth ways to ask for a crushes cell number!?!

Question

I have a really big crush on this guy I work with. I at least see him everyday, and we sometimes talk. I really would like to get a hold of him out of work. We do chat online seldomly, and when we do my heart races with happiness.

I would love to get his number so we can text, or just talk. Any ideas on a good way to ask for it?

I've seen someone pull off a very neat trick:

Hide your cellphone somewhere and tell the guy you forgot where you put it and ask him to help you find it. Ask him to call your cell so that it rings and you know where it is. There you go: his number is cached in your cell, and he also has your number.

My friend and I were sitting in my car outside an apartment building when this girl pulled over in front of us. She came to us and did exactly what I described above, saying she didn't remember where in her car she had put her cellphone. She was honest though, because she was moving in. I thought about it for a moment and went . "Ohhhhh!"

Just bring up the fact that you really like talking to him, or something along those lines. Then just say, hey I don't think I have your number, or I'm going to be busy tomorrow at a meeting, you should text me. Bring it up casually and make it seem like you would like to talk to him besides just online and at work.

Ask him if he wants to meet up after work for a bite to eat (then you can ask him for his number).  Another great way to get his number is if you could find a work related reason to get it (like if you are working on a project outside of work for work ).  The best bet is to just ask him for it though.

just remember, women can get away with a LOT more crap than men can, you can be a total silly and still get his Info.

Ask him if he is single and if says yes then say why don't you take me to dinner this weekend then, and he might be like oh ok, and then say well what is your number here's is mine. It's pretty simple I know.
