Do guys care if you have braces?

Honestly, that's one of the few things that I don't care about at all. Usually I am picky about things that women are typically self-conscious about, but braces are a total exception. I actually think they are cute. And when I was younger, I also thought they looked cool! I secretly wanted braces, even though now I'm pretty sure they're a huge pain in the ass.

The only problem with girls that have braces is that they are afraid to smile! So sad! Just don't be embarrassed about them! I know a really cute girl that has an amazing smile, but she neeeever smiles, and I'm sure it's because she has braces. Such a shame!

Also, at your age, especially for girls, I think it's cute/ cool/ fun to put different colors depending on the season. Like black and orange around Halloween or red and green around Christmas. That is, if that's your type of personality. If you're too cool for that, no problem. Lol. Around my age, it's probably too old for that kind of stuff, but I use to love to see that in high school. Girls that do that kind of stuff give off a vibe of being nice and easier to talk to, making them more approachable.

Just don't try to hide your braces. Own it. Don't be afraid to smile. And you won't get any less attention from guys.

A smart guy will realize that the outcome of having braces (a straight, pretty smile) is definitely worth the minor inconvenience of how they may look in the short term. Seeing someone with braces who you're not used to seeing with braces is different and may be considered unattractive by some, but once you see that person again you probably don't even notice. If you're interested in the guy you were texting with, try to be around him a little more and he will probably not even notice the braces after a short while. Cheers and good luck.
