Well, he's 2 years older, and I think it was in reference to how he always takes care of me and spoils me, it was in a joking manner too: almost like "Who's your daddy?"

yeah he is controlling...wants you to be very submissive...

He also has likely had thoughts/fantasies about younger girls...a lot younger than himself anyway. That could mean anywhere from 18 to 24...or younger...

  As for your update, yes that is still controlling. I still claim that what I said is likely true. "daddy" is not an appropriate term in a relationship in my opinion...the word implies control...but also implies controlling much younger girls...just not my thing I guess.

it could mean that he wants to control you, unless ur submissive I would try to talk to him more about the subject and find out exactly what he meant by that statement, cause it could mean many different things

it means that he sees himself as more of a mentor-type figure in your life rather than a romantic one. It's not bad, but it's clearly friend-zone.
