or pills

any suggestions?
Awww *hug*. First of all, I know how you feel. A couple of years ago I weighed 149 lbs, and I'm 5 ft 4. I'd always been skinny previously, but my Mum got really ill and I stopped exercising to care for her, and started eating chocolate and cake to comfort myself. I put on weight really fast. I felt so bad about myself, I would just sit and cry - I used to be a model and I was not used to being overweight at all. For a long time, I would think about dieting and toy with the idea for a few days, but I didn't commit.
Finally, I got sick of it. I decided to take matters into my own hands, and went on a diet. I lost 50lbs in about 6 months, at a steady rate of around 1-2 lbs a week. You can do this too - all you need is some groundrules that you absolutely do not break.
Okay, the first thing you need to do is to ignore a lot of the fad diet literature out there. There is a whole bunch of crap talked about weight loss, by people who don't have a clue about basic biology. You cannot safely lose more than 2-3lbs a week - and any diet which delivers more than that is deeply unsustainable and unhealthy. However, you can reliably lose 1-2 lbs a week by following some simple rules.
Second thing to know: your body is a machine. If you put more energy into the machine than it uses, then the surplus energy will be stored as fat. If you put less energy into the machine that you are using, then you will burn stored energy and lose weight. In dieting terms, this means there is one simple law: eat a little bit less than you burn, each day. To achieve this, count your calories. Use a website like The Daily Plate to keep track. I found it helpful and inspiring to weigh myself on precision electronic scales every day - because I could see little losses of 0.2lb adding up. However, do bear in mind that your weight will fluctuate a little over the course of the day, and over the course of your menstrual cycle.
Third thing to know: your momma was right when she told you to eat your greens. Try to get your calories from fresh fruit and veg (five portions a day, remember!), drink plenty of water and juice. Unprocessed carbs (e.g. wholegrain rice) are good for you, and filling too. Don't try to cut out carbohydrate - it's good for you, and you can lose weight while eating it. Avoid, like the plague, fast food, cake, candy and chocolate. You can't 'just have one because you're having a bad day' - that's a fat way of thinking! You need to crack the habit of associating food and comfort, and find something else to rely on for satisfaction and a treat.
Fourthly, remember that if you cheat on a diet, the only person you're cheating on is yourself.
Fifthly, accept that if you exercise, this will be a whole lot easier. Even a short exercise session can turn a calorie surplus into a calorie deficit. If you don't like regular exercise (running, gym) think about other things you could do - dancing, for instance, or martial arts

15 lbs in how many weeks? months>
15 lbs in about a month. One of it is like a meal replacement so I substitute a meal and just had the drink. Then for lunch I just ate regularly and I took their complete burn and that helps you burn calories. and then there this other product and it helps you digest the food (making it better for you to absorb all the nutrients and thus you can go to the bathroom easily) so I took all those combine and within a month I lost 15 lbs. And I'm pretty big myself and I dropped a few pant sizes :)
I was able to get my friend Vanessa to try it too and she lost like 65 lbs!
I have this other friend that tried slim 30 that works too but ...I heard it has side effects. So yeah. well watever you try.. ...hope that will help :)
The first month of my weight loss journey, this last February, I lost 20 pounds. And I did it by eating sensibly and exercising, I didn't buy any 'miracle food' or pill or anything. It takes willpower and the WANT to do this, otherwise no product on the market will do you any good. I'm down 113 pounds and I did it all myself because I wanted to and chose to. You're not doing any favors suggesting shortcuts.
It's just an suggestion
she has the choice to choose to take it nor not.
if she decides that she doesn't like the short cut then It doesn't offend me. I don't know why you seem all offended.
I am not offended. I've just been in the situation before and know when someone wants to lose weight like this, their goal is to lose it and keep it off. To do this, you have to do it with almost a lifestyle change not a fad diet type thing. I'm just trying to get the point across that if she wants to change to be happier, and for things to stay that way, she will be doing herself a disservice doing things like this. Sorry if I came across offended or ass like in any way. That wasn't my intent.
I understand your point and what message you are trying to convey but I have over weight friends as well and they hate to exercise and when plan one doesn't work they will go to plan b.
that is what I've gathered through experience and through observation.
when someone that is over weight no matter how much they exercise they will not see results because they are constantly thinking about it.
but when they go for a short cut and loose a desire amount they will start to understand that dieting.
And eating rite is essential. and it's best not to think about loosing weight. because the more you think about the more you can't loose weight or feel like what you are doing are helping you loose weight.
to lose weight you need to burn more calories throughout the day than you intake...
i know you said you don't like excercise but it's gotta be done... and to lose total body weight you have to work out the entire body... you can't do a bunch of ab work and expect yourself to get skinny that way... basically what you do then is just build muscle under the fat and you end up staying about the same size... for a fat burning workout you need cardio... keep your heartrate elevated to about 80% of your max heart rate... for at least 20 to 30min... that doesn't include a warmup and a cool down... try an excercise bike or a tread climbler... those are both great... also a BRISK walk... not a leisurely stroll... make yourself work... as far as pills... hydroxycut is a great supplement... but must be taken with diet and excercise... there is no magic pill... and diet... well to speed your metabolism eat foods without complex carbs... and eat more often throughout the day but much smaller portions... about every two hours... on top of that... big breakfast, small-medium lunch, and small dinner... you burn calories throughout the day with everyday activities... you don't need to eat much at night because you're not doing anything so it just transfers the food you just ate to fat and stores it... anything else feel free to ask
If you're not willing to do what it takes to lose the weight, you may as well not even bother because it won't happen. There is no easy way out, and when the shortcuts are taken, no good habits are learned and you repeat the pattern that got you to where you didn't want to be in the first place.

Exercise has to be part of it, not the biggest part, but it's important.
I lost about 2 and a half stone in the space of 9 months. I did this by going to weight watchers. At first I didn't want to go cause I thought I'd be the youngest there but once I arrived that didn't matter, infact it was nearly better and felt less judging because they were mostly my moms age.
Outside of weight watchers I exercised 2-3 times a week, only for about an hour each session.
I had my mom in weightwatchers with me and my friend always went to the gym with me. it was good to have people to push me and that I pushed too.
Thats my experience anyway, good luck.
SUBWAY! haha just kidding.
i'm guessing you want to do this the unhealthy way.
here's what I did. I ate less then 1000 calories a day, I didn't eat after 6, I didn't eat chips or chocolate or candy or ice cream. my 1 meal a day was usually a salad or a cup of noodles or popcorn with no butter. I ate super slow, to make me more full. all I drank was water...i mean a TON of water. like I had to pee every 45mins.
to be fair, I did excersise. I did like 50 sit ups a day, 100 jumping jacks and I ran 4times a week for an hour.
but beware, if you do do this and you get skinny, once you start to eat regularly again you will gain it all back. I was never as big as you either, so I'm not sure how long this will take for you to reach your goal weight.
you need to get into exercise. even if you lose the weight through diet or pills, you won't look as good unless you exercised.
dont think of it as a quick and easy thing. you are not gonna get in shape over night so don't try to sell yourself short. anything worth having is worth working for, remember that. don't count on diet pills to help you lose weight - most of them don't work and the ones that do work aren't good for your health. there's no sense in trying to get around it because you will almost probably gain the weight back and be right back where you started. healthy mindful eating and exercise is the oldest trick in the book and best guaranteed way to get in shape.
I don't know if you are actually super fat or not but if someone is super fat yet they are to lazy to get off their fat arse and work out then they deserve to end up bed ridden tbh.
I worked at theme park 2 days a week, which included a lot of WALKING. I went from a size 5 to a size 3 in like 3 months. I know it seems like a long time, but walking really does help.
