Okay so I'm just wondering if it sounds like I need to like lose some weight of if I weigh this much because of my body.
So I'm a dancer so I have like major leg muscle not in my arms but like my calves and thighs are pretty big not like fat but just nice and toned and big lol cause its pretty much lots of muscle. Okay but I weigh like 127 I guess it just kinda depends on the day its like in between 123- 130 but its usually around 126ish. I am about 5 3" Also I don't know if this really has an effect on weight but I have 34C's and I don't know anyways. I'm just wondering if that is healthy or if I could use to lose some weight. And please don't tell me stuff like just be happy with your body I mean I usually am just I was shopping for jeans and they made me feel like I was big or something because my hips are developed but I still fit in like a 2 and sometimes 1 but my thighs always look so big in them, and people that I know that are kinda built like me and are dancers to say they weigh like 110 and it just makes me feel like I'm big or something I mean maybe they are lying but I just don't know.
hi I find ladies that do have leg muscles very attractive more than those that are like bony legs.
your weight seems fine besides dance sometimes does need muscles. A woman weighing 150 pounds with 19% fat will look much smaller (and be much healthier) than a woman at 150 pounds with 35% fat. They weigh the same, yet the composition is different. Because muscle is more dense than fat the person with less fat and more muscle will look smaller. hope I helped a bit
Self confidence plays a big role in this. So does perception. The reason I say this is because, if you have confidence that you look good - generally you will look even better. Its like wearing a smile instead of a frown. BUT here is where perception comes in to play. If you don't have a good perception of what thin and heavy is - like some overweight people in this country - you will look a bit foolish walking around with confidence and showing your body off (in skirts). I only mentioned overweight people in america, because if you have ever seen some overweight lady wearing pants/skirt 10 sizes to small, it is NOT attractive. And yeah they may have confidence that they look good, but since their perception is so far off, they just can't see what they are doing wrong.
At this point I would say keep doing what you are doing, either maintain what you got or work a little harder. Just don't go the other way :) you look fine.
The whole big/muscular legs thing is pretty hot. I prefer that over skinny legs. When a girl needs to wear jeans that are a couple sizes too big because of how her legs are built, that to me is juuuuuuust right. I don't know how much the breasts attribute to your weight but I can say this much
DON'T CHANGE A THING
I'm sure half the guys at your high school are drooling over you. I know I would have been at that age.
muscles are beautiful. and your weight seem fine. everyones body is different in one way or another. my opinion is your breast weight doesn't matter I say the bigger the better =) lol but ya you seem to be very healthy.
Your weight is perfectly healthy to your height. Everyone is shaped differnt too, and jean-makers can't realisitcally make jeans to fit all those variations (like bigger legs, smaller waist). So we just have to work with what's out there and no one should be ashamed of going up (or down) a size to best match their shape. (not to mention the size differnces between brands) Oddly enough I have the exact opposite problem, my legs are too thin in comparison to my hips (pure bone structure, nothing to do with weight) for them to get any glory in most pairs of jeans. (this is why I love skirts and leggings.) anywhos, I dont' think you need to be losing weight. Especailly if your dancer's legs are muscle. then the only way to be losing weight off of them would be to lose muscle mass, which wouldn't help you in the long run at all. Jeans shopping can make the best of us feel fat every then and again, so dont' let the department store scales get to you.
you aren't fat until you jiggle with every step. It's better to have toned big thighs then stick thin legs. Be happy with what you got cause some guys find that really attractive, and women with bodies look way better in bathing suits, dresses, ect then those stick people. But if you are unhappy with your weight you should loose a little and see if that makes you more confident.
in your case, being that you're dancer, I wouldn't worry about weight so much as I would worry about keeping in shape. as long as you can do what you do without being too winded after a short amount of time, you'll be fine.
if you really want to lose weight, just eat more fiber and drink more water while keeping up your exercise.
