I know a girl from school. We weren't exactly like peas in a pod. But somehow developed a feeling for each other during a project. At that time she was attached and I didn't want to get involved. So, I moved away from her.
1 year later she was single again and fate had it that we were in the same class. We didn't talk to each other at first. But during this valentine's, I was surprised to see her online and wrote her a poem. We started talking again.
Then I realized that I have to tell her soon because we are going to graduate. But she kept putting off our dates. So I stopped talking to her. And when she came to talk to me again. I told her that I love her and that I don't like her flaking. Then she told me she's not ready because there's new people on the scene and she can't take all the 'attention'(no idea why the ' ' on IM). When I said it's okay and was about to end my conversation, she asked me to give it time. I am about to move on but in my heart I feel like she's the one. So just want to ask you guys for your opinion.
Personally I don't think it is fair to you. She can't expect you to wait for her when she is off with new people or whatever she meant. But if you really think she is the one, then maybe you should wait but its totally your call. I just don't think it seems right that she asks you to give her time, when your about to graduate! You should be having fun, and meeting as many new people as you can, and maybe just maybe you will meet someone special who won't flake out on you. Hope I helped :]
