For a cinema date, probably a flapper's dress would be great. If you're going out to the movies with a guy, try wearing something casual but classy, that you're comfortable in. If skinny jeans and boots fits your style and comfort, wear that. If not, wear what you like. It's that simple!
Something cute, like a nice little cardigan. Just something mild and pretty, that way, when you guys get onto further dates, like going clubbing together, you can bowl him over by looking really sexy!
guys don't care what women where so long as she shows up, and is fun to be with I'll take a cute italian or latino in jeans and a tshirt, over a bitch in high heels any day
I like it when a girl is dressed casual for something like that. Wear clothes that are comfortable and look like they're comfortable. Jeans and a form fitting top of some sort are pretty much the best option IMO.
As far as your question about skinny jeans, I didn't know there was any other way you COULD wear them. I've never seen them worn outside boots and I didn't even think it was possible.
I meant tucked into boots rather than with ballet flats, high heeled shoes etc :) - A month ago

Oh yeah, that's the best way to wear them. In fact, its the only way you can wear them without making it look like your legs are deformed. - A month ago
It doesn't really matter to us as long as it's what you feel confident and beautiful in. You may wanna wear layers, sometimes it gets pretty cold in movies (in America at least). Or you could not and just get him to put his arm around you instead, your choice. ;) As for the jeans, that's the best way to wear those with boots, but your options are pretty open as far as I'm concerned.
