Also, the weight you'd have lost would really only be there wouldn't be food in your stomach, so technically, the fat would still be there (a lot of it) - 4 months ago
dont rely on just not eating, but go for a run, ride a bike, or walk a dog for a mile. losing weight is not that hard. this isn't being negative, its looking out for you. if yoru gonna cut down eating, make it at least 800 calories, then lower it. if you do starve yourself, when you can put the weight back on, its gonna put your body into shock. so just read up about it and becareful. on your last day, that's when you can fast the most. but do it slowly.
those 8 lbs are probably just water weight so it is possible to lose it in a week and it won't be a health risk. For breakfast eat yogurt, oatmeal, or fresh fruit. For lunch have a salad, with either no dressing or some olive oil, and for dinner some chicken or fish. Be sure to eat small snacks in between. Also do a lot of cardio. Avoid salty and sugary foods, and drink a lot of water. As for dropping 8 lbs with what you are planning to do, it won't help, it will just be unhealthy and make you gain weight. Good luck
Well, I'm gonna go against what you said not to do- starving yourself is not acceptable.
There is absolutely no occasion, no dress, and no person that is worth starving yourself for any period of time.
8 pounds will not change your physique, especially in a weeks time. Starving yourself will change your body chemistry after a day or two and your body will react by reducing your calorie burning. Your body will start to eat muscle, and you will bloat. Chances are really good you will remain weight-neutral or actually gain weight (water, wastes, etc).
Why would you want to do that to yourself? Any person that would judge you over 8 pounds of weight is not deserving of your concern for what they think about you. Those people are truly ugly, shallow, and aren't worth your time.
For christ sake, don't destroy yourself over some vain attempt at trying to impress people that should be taken out in the street and shot!
Its not to impress anyone its for me to feel more confident at the event and I said if your going to be negative don't answer because I already am very well educated at what starving can do to the body that wasnt my question - 4 months ago

"It's not to impress anyone its for me to feel more confident at the event"
That's an oxy-moron. Are you that insecure in who you are that you think losing 8 pounds will make you more acceptable to people? Don't say it's for you, because in all reality you will feel absolutely horrible after doing this.
I can read and I admitted that you wouldn't like my answer. I felt it was worth the effort to try to point out that you are beautiful and lovely just the way you are. Guess I was wrong. - 4 months ago

"for me to feel good I want to lose 8lbs for the event to feel more confident "
So you feel that your confidence comes from some number on a scale? Some dress you're wanting to fit into? If so you are shallow.
Not eating will NOT make you feel physically better. It is a physical impossibility.
So you are depending on starvation to make you feel emotionally better. That is the definition of an eating disorder.
You are in denial. It's a shame you can't see it. Get help; do it now - 4 months ago

"yes iam in secure if I wasn't I wouldn't do this"
And if you were really secure you would not have to do it to feel confident. You'd accept yourself and move on. Thanks for proving the point. Get some help. - 4 months ago
ok it is possible but your going to need to burn 7200 calories a day and only eat 200 calories. by doing this you have a possibility to loose a stone in a week but more realistically just over half a stone 8 lbs,. you have to burn 3500 calories more than you eat to loose 1 lb but obviously there are only 7 days in a week so you need to do the same amount each day which would need to be around double . but do you wanna loose weight or inches. consider that. x
In the worst case, you'll get a heart attack. 100 would be salad leaves and diet coke. I'd say if you go for 800, that's still pretty stupid, but will work better. I was just wondering whether you will have to look good on this event? because with 100 a day, if you manage to get there, you'll look really bad in the face, and no make-up will cover that.
Yes it is possible to do so but if you want to make sure that you lose 8lbs then I'd suggest to go on a liquid diet. What I did was drink chocolate milk in the morning (since the chocolate satisfied my craving) and coffee (no whipped cream) and drink water since your stomach will think that's its full. You will have a headache for the first day or so but after that the headache should go away. I would advise not doing strenuous exercise because you'll feel dizzy and might pass out and if feel that you MUST eat then try crackers. I lost about 20 pounds in two weeks and felt amazing that I lost in time for that event but when you do start to eat, please start off small because it's not only a physical risk that other people are bringing up it's also an emotional risk. One day you feel great that you lost the weight then you start to eat and the weight just appears and well being on that roller coaster it's not fun to watch the weight come back.
So yes it's possible and if you want to keep it off then when you start to eat, start off small.
It depends what type of body you have eat vegetables soup this whole week and try running for 30 mins. each day wear pants and sweater too dont drink sugar drinks only water and plenty of it no fast food either at all
if you head onto one of those pro anorexia websites I'm sure the community there will be more than happy to help. if you were going to survive on less than 100 calories a day it's going to be ridiculously hard, even harder to exercise with your total lack of energy. There's also a high chance of hospitalization. But I don't know the exact ins and outs since I'm not into all that. so if you really want a "meal plan" (could you even call it that? starvation plan maybe?) for 100 calories & less go to the anorexia websites.
