Girls, we've all done it. We've all hit that point where we've had just one tiny sip over our limit, that moment when we just slightly tip over the edge, that moment where no matter what our boyfriend/fiance/husband says, we want nothing more than to give them a piece of our mind. If you haven't done it, either you will or more power to you for fending off the alcohol.

It all starts innocently enough, a nice dinner with friends, a little wine here, maybe a beer there. You gather your group of friends and decide to go to a local bar, maybe a club, a little dancing, maybe a shot or two. But at that very moment of your third shot, with the culmination of three glasses of wine and two beers already moving through your body, your mind starts to fade away and you become the drunken girlfriend/fiance/wife.

No longer is your significant other the man of your dreams or the sweetest man you've ever met; he has transformed into the most irritating and sarcastic individual in the room, there to ruin your night. Now, I'd say ninety five percent of the time, your boyfriend/fiance/husband has done nothing wrong, but despite his best efforts ninety five percent of the time he can't stop the drunken girlfriend rampage.

The drunken girlfriend is not a hereditary condition (well not typically anyway) contrary to popular belief, but no one is safe. All women are susceptible with the right amount of liquor.

Guys, if you want to look for the signs, it all starts with that cut of the eye she gives you when you make a smart comment. One dirty look and a short response of I'm fine, and you should realize your night is about to hit the fan. Rather than try and salvage your night out, you decide the best bet is for you to head home to bypass the ensuing fight and spare yours and her friends.

But then there is the car ride home. Sometimes there's yelling, sometimes there's crying but more than likely your drive home is not a pleasant one. If it's a silent ride, good luck when you get home.

Now girls, I know you may be reading this thinking, that is not me, I have never done that. But the truth is that if you haven't done this yet, you will unless you don't drink, then you're safe! I'm guilty of it and there's no denying it, my boyfriend can vouch for that!

The point here is that, girls, it happens, no need to dwell on it. When you wake up in the morning, just think of it all as a bad dream and hope your boyfriend/fiance/husband doesn't remember a thing, although the chances of that are slim to none. The other point for us women is to watch your alcohol consumption. If you think that final shot is too much for you to handle, it probably is. Your boyfriend/fiance/husband will thank you later. At some point, I hope to heed to my own advice.

Guys, the moral of the story for you is, don't be surprised when it happens, it WILL happen and the best thing you can do is try and talk it out or put us to bed. Chances are, in the morning, well forget it ever happened and love you just the same if not more for putting up with us.

Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 19 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?
