if you're having trouble meeting people, you could aways take some sort of a class (e.g., art, exercise, dance) or volunteer at an animal shelter (I assume you like cats :P)

He never really asked me out. The relationship just sort of happened. We were in the dreaded friend zone, he kissed me, then he came back to my house the next day with a flower and asked if I would be his girlfriend. That really takes a lot of guts.

Yeah :) I felt like I was in a cheesy rom-com, haha.
i met him through a random encounter at a gyro place. we talked for a bit and exchanged numbers. text messages ensued. after a few exchanges, he later asked me out via text.
He didn't, I was at his place out the front waiting for my dad to come and get me, then he kissed me :P (not sure if he asked if he could though, feeling kinda bad for not remembering)
My room mate started hitting on him and she was like soooo ya`ll aren't even really dating right? He asked me out when she said that.

Before or after, her friend hits on me and I get hit with everything at hand & ordered for as well as with words & stuff lol - happens w/o fail in any relationship with me - fate & history lol
One day after school, I had to walk my friend to the bus stop and so I told him I had to go & my friend starts walking & I kinda wanted to give him a hug but I didnt, so I started walking away & he calls me & I go back to him & he's all awkward and nervous & I new it was coming, he's like "so.. do you want to make this official" hahah it was so awkward honestly. He's a geek. I love him.

Hmm we had met the day before at a work event and the next day he texted me because he and some friends were getting together. I went over and then after that we just kept hanging out for a few weeks and eventually started dating. It wasn't like "will you go out with me?" though.

We talked a Couple times, I got his number...we never stopped talking. It was just super obvious. He pretty much asked what day I wanted to start counting our "relationship" on. And it's only gotten better :)

He didn't... on our "3 months" he said happy anniversary that's when I found out we were actually together. but worked out (mostly)

I was walking home alone and he decided to cycle next to me to keep me company and protect me on my way home (I'd met him that day - he's my kickboxing instructor so he wasn't a random stranger). We talked non stop and I didn't want the conversation to end when I got home. Then I added him on Facebook and he added me a week later when he realised who I was. He randomly asked me out for a walk one day and I was overjoyed but he says he wasn't interested in me at that time (I think he had just finished his ex though!). Then another day, I went to his and we cuddled for like 8 hours and he was so close to my face but he wouldn't kiss me! So before I had to leave, I lay next to him and kissed him on the lips without thinking because the urge was so strong. He kissed me back and we didn't stop kissing. Then the next day he came to mine and we lay there and I said, "Soooo, are you mine?" and he said, "yeah, are you mine?" and I said yes, so then it was official.
14 months later, we're still going strong and it turns out we're soul mates and like twins. He's my best friend and I can see us being together for a lifetime!

Yeah, it was the best start to a relationship I've had and even heard of haha. I loved it all. It's not often you meet someone in person and develop the relationship in person.
And it's not often the female does all the work either!
