Ladies, would you date a very talented yet eccentric person?

He's 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. He makes music and has a large local following, he is a martial arts prodigy, and he's extremely good at getting good at things in general. He is shy in some situations, talented creatively and athletically, and has a good heart. The only thing is he is eccentric has weird activities, does things that don't make sense to others at times, doesn't always think like everyone else, and has a genius level IQ. Another thing is he use to have depression and anxiety problems in the past.

None of those things matter to me if we don't click. If we click, most of the things you listed will be a plus in my book. But if we don't click, I literally couldn't care less about his hobbies, level of intelligence etc. If we were friends, I'd care for him as a friend. But it's not like I'd think "hey, this guy is talented and smart, that totally makes me want to date him". Because that's not how it works for me. I need more than that. Most of it simply depends on whether we have a connection or not, and whether the connection we have makes me think of him in a platonic way or in a romantic way.

Actually this guys sounds perfect. Although my IQ is not genius, it is very high and I'd enjoy the intelligent debates he has to offer. I am a black belt in karate myself so we have that in common. 6ft is the perfect height for me because that's my height in heels. I have also had anxiety problems so can understand him and I live with people with depression. Also getting a degree in psychology at university so there's that.

If he has a good heart and a stimulating conversation then I'm his gal.

I would date him because im dating someone just like him right now. We met on-line and things sparked from there. he plays guitar and sings, genius IQ also, plays soccer and has also gone through depression and anxiety trouble and still does and so have i so it doesn't bother me. He can act like has 4 sometimes and then be extremely mature the next. The eccentric tendency could be because of the high IQ. Sometimes gifted people are introverted and can have those tendencies. its not unusual my boyfriend is just like that and we have no problem. give it a shot!

I would l i ve to get to know this guy. I like getting to know eccentric people and being able to debate about different topic makes me find the guy you describe really attractive.
Also I'm a very good listener and love to helpnother so in case he had any problem I'd always be there so we could talk them through and find the best possible solution (:
